“This is my favourite restaurant. I come here a couple of times a year only because it's kind of a drive from where I live but I always make it a point to stop in. The quality of food and presentation of the plates are second to none. The tres leches cake is one of the best things you can have there after your main course. The prices are not cheap but neither is the quality. Every person I've ever recommended this place to has been absolutely blown away. Definitely recommend everyone try it at lease once.”

“My wife and I visited for Christmas Eve dinner last night. The Essex House was incredibly charming, the service was warm, efficient and thoughtful. “We held our annual Cub Scout Blue and Gold banquet here and it was perfect. The food and accommodations were spot on. No complaints about anything. The part that makes this a five star review is the staff. Bobby and his staff really took care of us. They help every step of the way but did not get in the way. They were excellent hosts for our event. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking have an event. They really treat their customers well.”

Collaboration, urgency, and attitude needs to be a point of focus at the bar while serving. Other than that, it is pretty good. My husband is Nigerian and he enjoyed it very much. “Let's call it what it is: New Yorkers hate flying out of Newark, so we welcome anything that makes the EWR experience easier. My family and I needed to stop for lunch before parking at a long-term lot (don't get me started) and flying international, and the Starlight was just perfect for us. Friendly staff, clean facilities, quick service, very good basic lunch food (sandwiches, burgers, soup etc), easy in and out, reasonably priced. Would I hold a wedding reception in there? Of course not. But it's the restaurant in a hotel next to Newark Airport: you're expecting a 5-star meal? It's absolutely perfect for what it is. If you're saddled with a departing flight from Newark and you'd like to avoid wasting money buying food inside the airport (and I know you are, otherwise you wouldn't be scrolling through these reviews), the Starlight is a fine option.”

“I like Marbella lounge best during the Summer when the patio is open. During winter is good the ambiance is great and its like a chill spot, Sundays evening is not so crowded but maybe because i went the first Sunday of the new year. I Still enjoyed it. The prices are cheaper when you buy two bottles instead of one. And the hookas are really good they don’t fade easily and the refills are not expensive. Great place if you want to chill and not overspend.”

“There is a 10 dollar cover charge on the weekends which you can perhaps expect on a Friday night at a lounge but it's definitely not worth it. Security does their due diligence by checking your coat/bag and then on you go! The music is on point but that's as good as it gets. The bathrooms aren't checked often if at all so there's toilet paper shrewn all over the floor. The food is extremely sub par...I ordered the salmon cake burger and it tasted like it came straight out of a box...or a frozen dinner. The silverware is all plastic. The service was a bit snappy and extremely slow. The sangria is mostly juice. You'd have to drink quite a bit...not necessarily a bad experience but not someplace I'd return! (The mashed potatoes were good though so that's one other plus).”
