“I want to start by saying how grateful I am to have Mediterranean cuisine here in Wanaque. A breath of fresh air aside from fast food, pizza, and Chinese. For 15.95 I got the firestix chicken bowl. It was worth every bit of 15.95 cause the portion was HUGE. My girlfriend got the firestix chicken stick and a side of fries. Her chicken came with pita bread, and I got a Greek salad which was different than what I’m used too but I like a lot of feta cheese on my Greek salads and this had nice chunks. The style was pretty cool. I like what they did with romas old place and the menus are digital. We spent about 40$ but I also ordered more than we could eat to at least try as much as I could for this one visit. Their desert menu is extensive so I’m looking forward to going back and trying that. I’m going to try everything on the menu but I started with just these items. Everyone in town should go support our local businesses and give them a try 💯 ps. There’s more parking in the back so don’t be discouraged to pull in if you see it packed out front 😂”

“This restaurant is an expansion of a franchise started in Pal Park. My wife and I would always eat the fried chicken at that location anytime we headed up there. It was a wonderful surprise to see one of these open up in town. I'm happy to report that the chicken is just as good as what we get in Pal Park. Korean fried chicken is cooked to perfection. It's not oily or heavy on the stomach the way some other places make it. The only thing you need to be mindful of is having some kind of vegetable on the side. Steam up some broc at home and you'll be all set, or order the pickled radish to go with the chicken. Highly recommend. If ordering online, make sure you set your location to the Verona restaurant and not one of the other locations in Bergen county.”

“Visited Los Altos in the evening on a Thursday. The bar area had a few tables full, I believe because happy hour had just ended. The dining space is stunning, definitely a nice place to have an intimate dinner. We had our 3 yr old with us so it’s definitely family friendly. It’s newly opened so I’m not surprised the dining area was empty. Our server Jorge was awesome. He gave us suggestions, and feedback on your food and drink choices. He came back from time to check on how we were enjoying our meal. He was very patient and efficient. I literally have no complaints about the service we received. There was another woman who checked in us, I assumed she was the manager because she didn’t introduce herself but she did come to us twice to see if we were enjoying our time there. The food was good. I am honestly not a Mexican food fan. I’ll always have the complaint that the food needs more seasoning because that is what I prefer but that may not be the tradition on the food. Nonetheless I ordered the “Esquites,” a very tasty corn appetizer. I added salt and pepper and it was perfect. The complimentary chips and salsa was good, I do think the salsa need more flavor and spice, it was a little watery. For entrees we ordered the shrimp tacos, and the shrimp enchiladas. Both were tasty, but next time I would maybe try a chicken dish. My husband said the enchiladas were good, they could scale back on the cheese. We both ordered margaritas. One blackberry and one passion fruit. Both were delicious. No complaints. We ordered chicken tenders and fried for my daughter. That was good as well, I like that their strips were actual chicken breasts and not that blended formed into a tender. For dessert we ordered the churros and ice cream. That was good together. I did wish they had like a tour dessert option where it’s a little of each because I wanted to try them all lol. I been there before during the soft opening, so I had already have the tres leche which I do not eat normally but theirs is soooooo good! If it wasn’t so hot we would have chosen outdoor seating. Overall the experience was great, and we will go back again.”

I got an even amount of meat and rice (most places give you heap of rice and hardly any meat).My only complaint is they’re not closer to where I live. I know when I’m in the area this will be the only spot I’ll go to. Hands down the best place Haitian spot I’ve been to so far.”
