“This was a great Mexican food place but we ordered chimichangas which normally are deep fry burritos but here they were just enchilada style and that's the first time I've ever been at Mexican food place that they were served that way and that's the only reason they lost a star. Otherwise this place had really good food. It's homemade so it's very authentic and the service is great. They also have Mexican Pepsi which was wonderful and it served in the original glass bottle and if you've never had a Mexican Pepsi you definitely have to try it because it's very different from a fountain Pepsi.”

“Is fantastic awesome incredible delicious. It is one of the better burritos. I think, I have eaten my entire life. It is so delicious. If you're in New Mexico stop and eat there, because the food is absolutely delicious. Vicious, I had the green salsa or chili. That comes in the little plastic container's absolutely divine and delicious. My goodness, I could have eaten 5 or 10 of those burritos but that would just be making a pig out of myself LOLI will definitely stop it again whenever I'm in town. I love that place”

“Great food and service here! You get chips and salsa right away which was awesome and the salsa itself was very nice and thick and with a good flavor We both got the bacon cheese burger meal medium rare with both the seasoned fries and normal fries, definitely get the seasoned fries they are much better than the normal fries 👍 Burgers were exceptionally good actually with good sized portions of everything 😎 They are apparently open on Sundays now also. They had several signs about it. Support a local place and eat here if you have a little time, we had a hotel coupon/ discount from the Comfort inn which was cool but we accidentally forgot to use it haha 🤦♂️”

“The service is always impeccable when we visit. The staff are personable and attentive. The food is delicious and tastes as good as any other Red Lobster location that I have been to. I always like to try a specialty alcohol beverage because there is always a new one and they are so good and have great pricing. I have dietary restrictions so I love coming here because I have such an easy time ordering. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate so it’s a favorite for date nights, but we enjoy having family dinners here on occasion as well. The price range varies so there is definitely something for everyone.”

“Very nice and clean restaurant. Franchise owner took our order and was very nice. However servers forgot my peach shake and acted perturbed that I asked for the shake later. Then the girl just put on the counter and walked off, didn't even walk it to our table, and there was no one else in the store. Seasoned fries are great, but the soda machine tasted off as well as the peach shake. Ordered the breakfast sandwich, chicken strips and an It's A Burger. Not really what I remember from back in the day when eating Burger Time burgers also.”

“Donuts, Donuts, donuts… we were out looking for donuts and my wife spotted this place. You would never think to stop here but you should for donuts. The cinnamon rolls are as big as flying saucers and the cherry fritter is out of this world. The maple donut was better than watching an alien autopsy. Now let’s talk about the cookies. Any cookie that has two types of icing on it has to be good right? We had a pumpkin shaped cookie, a Turkey shaped cookie and a tree shaped cookie. Oh the taste is as good as my grandmothers bakery that I grew up eating this type of sugar cookie. Oh man I can’t even describe the experience of those cookies. They had huge pies, cannolis, macaroons lemon squares and brownies. If you miss this out of world experience you are out of your mind. I may never travel back to Roswell but if I do, it will be just to come back here. Oh my… amazing experience. The staff was very helpful, oh yeah I forgot the also have cake pops. I didn’t get one of these but we may be back for dessert after dinner. I’m telling you, stop here, and get the cherry fritter. It was so good and I’m not a big fan of cherry. We would have never stopped here based on the outside because we would have thought it just a French type bistro. We would have missed the best donuts…”

“Apparently this place is the reason UFOs go so far out of their way to visit. La Salsa is worth stopping in Roswell even if you're just passing through! The restaurant is embedded in a mall but they have a separate entrance and open at 7 a.m. I got breakfast - two eggs with bacon, hash browns, tortilla and pancakes. Truly spectacular - eggs cooked exactly like I asked, bacon was crispy, pancakes were fluffy, hash browns were a style I'm not used to but very delicious, tortilla was huge and definitely homemade. They even threw in a yummy sopapilla. I asked them to smother the eggs and hash browns in red chili sauce, which was perfect. They have a condiment bar with about a dozen items, most of them salsas. I got the blackened jalapenos and onions that had been marinated in a soy sauce based marinade. Never had that before but it was wonderful. Staff was friendly. Bathroom spotless.”

Ranked from most favorite to favorite: Most: Asada - cooked well done, a little tough but tasty and you know it’s cooked. An elderly gentleman with dentures would have trouble but not my chompers. Tie for Most: Adobada - A lot more tender than Asada but I like the flavor of the Asada just a teeny bit more. 2nd Favorite: Brisket - the most tender one and tasty as well. I prefer brisket in BBQ form though but that’s the Texan in me.”

I loved that they offered veggie dishes with the option to add tofu. “This is going to seem brutal, but I didn’t necessarily dislike the food. We ordered the sopapilla and the tostadas and shared, and the food tasted exactly the same, same meat, same rice, same seasoning. It just was very boring. The salsa was definitely homemade and had a nice level of spice. The beans, however, were absolutely delicious. The service was good enough. We were questioned about our service dog and were required to pull out his service dog card by the manager, despite him being in a closed space. My recommendation is order one meal, share it for the experience and call it good. We were lured in by clever pictures of aliens lol”

“Parking lot is tight, but there is plenty of parking on the street right in front of it. We parked our 41 foot camper and truck right in front and I just walked in. It was perfect. It’s a little tight for big trucks to get in and out of. If it is a large Starbucks very roomy plenty of seats inside sweet staff. Well run. Very clean. It was remodeled last year.”
