“We came specifically to try the World’s Biggest Green Chile Cheeseburger. It did not disappoint. It fed 4 adults and a toddler and was quite tasty! Fries were good, decorations were fun, and the restaurant has a haunted history which is also fun! Service was good, the waitress was nice, no complaints! I give it 5 stars instead of 4 because they’re doing something unique (giant green chile burger). Give it a try!”

“BANG!! What an amazing oasis in the Southeast corner of New Mexico! The Double Eagle is worth the drive. We ordered Chateaubriand table-side and it was excellent. Make sure you ask for “Fine Dining” so they will seat you in their most luxurious room with vintage chandeliers and oversized gold mirrors and the balance of the decor is spectacular! The music was perfect the wine was perfect!”

“In my top 5 favorite restaurants in town. I don't know how many times I've eaten here. Excellent authentic Las Cruces Mexican food. I recommend the breakfast or anything with a Chile Relleno in it if you want a little spice. ???????? Oh also, it was Cash Only last time I was there... they may have updated since then though.”

“So the latest time I ate here was in the 1990s when I was a freshman at NMSU. The food was pretty bad and I had a ton of meals left on my plan at the end of the year from not eating here. I just had lunch here in 2020 while attending a recruiting fair and I’ve got to say I was really impressed. I got a salad and some fresh sides - food I would have loved to have gotten when I was a student. In the end, it’s a college cafeteria so don’t expect haute cuisine, but the staff was friendly, food was pretty fresh and overall a nice meal...”

“Asked for a clear cup for water and was told that they were not given out any cups for water. But did not offer any other type of recipient to get water. Subway has always provided the customer with this type of incentive. Besides the great food, free water is why I also visit subway. A bit disappointed.”

“This is what I hope for when I try a new BBQ place! It's small and there isn't much parking but the meat is smoked on site by the guy who owns the place. It smells great as you walk up and the menu changes slightly with what he has on hand. Go and enjoy!”

“My wife and I have been coming by this place for years. We moved from El Paso to San Antonio 9 years ago and other than family, this winery is what I miss the most. Ever since we started going, 10 plus years ago, we have had an awesome time and I always walk out with at least a case of different wines!!! The owner is something else.... I'm extremely jealous of him as he is living my dream.... Highly recommend stopping by!!!!!”

“What a fantastic experience. I’ve heard people talking about Chopes for the last ten years and never took the time to check it out. There are plenty of TexMex/Mexican restaurants to choose from in the area. Why take the time to go to La Mesa? Well, take the time. If your of my frame of mind, get the Rellenos and enjoy a great meal. Plenty on the menu to choose from, but these were the best I’ve ever had, Seriously!”

“This place was recommended to us by locals that happened to be staying at the motel we stayed at. We ordered a meat pizza and some wings. They delivered it to our motel room. The food was hot when it arrived. The pizza was great but the wings were a bit dry but had a decent flavor. Definitely would recommend them and will try them again if we are in the area.”
