“Cozy local pub with great service and good truck food. Limited to beer. Wish they had less dark beers and a little more selection. Not a big beer drinker but found a couple I liked, especially a cider. Tried a flight, had some wings and fries for a nice evening. Ran in to some nice friendly people. Place is clean, well kept and has an outdoor area. Pretty nice for Deming.”

“This is the *coolest* restaurant/saloon/old school/museum!! So, not only was the service and food incredible, the entire experience was amazing. Go explore the building with all the eclectic collections of old safes, books, taxidermy, signs, jukeboxes, appliances, pianos… you name it!! This place is a piece of living history as an old school, and filled with love over the past 44 years by someone who values things of our past. Down-home feel, comfortable, and friendly at this oasis of a watering hole. 10/10, if we pass through again, we will be back!”

“Overall an enjoyable experience. The vibe was very relaxed, no bright lights or loud TVs! Food & drinks were better than expected, and received them in a reasonable amount of time. Our waitress Stacey was very kind and welcoming! She made sure everything was great and had a smile on her face. Would recommend for anyone who needs a quiet evening after a long day of driving!”

“This is a gem while on the road. If your looking for a great bite, fast service, and a clean spot... don't miss out. It's totally worth it and you won't regret it. We ordered carne asada fries, chorizo and egg burrito, and beans and rice for the kiddos and it was all delicious. The red salsa was my favorite with just enough spice to add a kick to your food.”

“CASH ONLY!!! I love it. It's a small place, seats 85 people tops. Decor is eclectic. Bathroom was clean, and multi gender. Old but clean building. Friendly wait staff despite how busy it is. Salsa is HOT. It was hot just smelling it. The food came out quickly, was fresh and hot. Tasted amazing and was Boldly seasoned "spicy". My husband finished his food, but I could not due to being full.Large portions. Everything on the menu was cheep. We will definitely come back. Owner was knowledgeable about local events and town which was helpful.”

“First off before I say anything, I would like to let you know that this is our first time visiting this location and town. Our first impressions were that it was really clean (extremely important esp. During these times), extremely inviting, colorful, loved the theme (dinner hippos), and with a retro vibe. The food was delicious. It was a personal spin on classic dinner foods. The employees were helpful and very informative. Always a plus when its your first time visiting. And what was the cherry on the top for me was the restroom. I don't know if any of you are like me, but I am extremely picky when it comes to restrooms. If it is not clean in the slightest I feel like it's not worth eating there. But this restroom was beyond clean. I would recommend this place and hope to visit soon.”

“I googled deming for a good breakfast restaurant and this was the highest rated.its about 2 miles off the freeway but well worth it.i had a 3 egg omelet with bacon ham and sausage with potatoes and toast with coffee and the bill was about $14. When I got their 3 local sheriff's were just leaving and as I was leaving 2paramedics were just walking in. Great food. Very inexpensive”

“Food was good. I mainly gave 4 stars because I ordered a 5 piece tender meal and only received 4 tenders. I was already on the road again by time I realized I was missing a tender. All other orders were correct. The lady, Destiny that took our order was kind and helpful. Another staff member that ran out to give an order to someone in the drive through even stopped to make small talk about the windy weather was kind as well.”

“Doesn't look like much, but sometimes looks are deceiving. Once you get inside, you'll have a diner atmosphere and amazing food. I recommend the enchiladas with red sauce. Will definitely be back.”

“So, the other place in town is never open. We decided to give this a try instead. Looks like it might be renovating, but the food hot and wow, so generous. The service was fast , she was hard to understand, but very nice. We will stop about once a week on our trips to and from. Thanks for the great food!”

“Rita our server was great. She made the visit fun. This place is a great hide away between a car wash and convenience store in a Valero gas station. This town is loaded with Mexican restaurants so if you feel like something different this is the place to go. Fun pub style pace with a decent menu. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻”

“We were just driving through and decided to stop for lunch I got a chicken burrito🌯 the chicken was very plain. The cheese Burger 🍔 was really good the fries not so much. The tacos🌮 were pretty good shells felt a little bit oily but other than that it was all really good. a nice place for a quick bite if you're just driving through and need a spot I recommend here.”

“If I had not eaten here a number of times before, I would have given them one star. However, aside from the last couple of times I visited this little restaurant, it has had really good food and the service has been pretty good. Having said that, I must share my last experience here. My husband and I went for lunch, we ordered an appetizer but his meal came out before the appetizer so we said just to cancel the appetizer. The waitress was very persistent that the appetizer was almost ready so in the interest of appeasing her, we told her she could bring it out. Ten minutes later, she brought it out. This ended up being a good thing because my food didn’t come out until my husband was completely done eating and we had been waiting for a long time! This was frankly a very unpleasant experience and I would have thought they would have offered some sort of compensation but nope, rang us up and acted like nothing had happened. I was very disappointed in this experience and in how it was all just swept under the table with no apologies.”

“So glad we stopped here! The food was great! The salsa and crispy chips were perfect crunch and spiciness! I got the combo because it all smelled good! Guacamole was yummy, chilies relleno and enchilada had lots of flavor. Carne was good too.”

“We often come here when traveling across the state. Is it the best Mexican food? No. But it's really good and amazing for Deming. I love their green Chile cheese enchiladas with grilled onions. Beans don't have lard. Oh, and their chips have great taste and texture. Good tasting salsa for dipping. My husband likes their Carne asada tacos. The prices are awesome for the size plates.”

“Home cooking in a quaint little place with 5 tables inside and a couple outside. It's a little difficult to find, because it's in the alley behind the Wells Fargo Bank. It's been owned for 13 years by a couple originally from Mississippi. He does most of the cooking and she bakes the pies. I hesitate to order meatloaf anywhere, but glad I did here. My husband had the skillet fried chicken...be prepared, that takes about 30 minutes, as it is cooked when ordered. We had no concerns about the wait, GOOD chicken is worth waiting for. YUM! A must try when in Deming!”
