“I ordered a lunch special and a few other things. It was for take out. I was told 20-25 minutes before it would be ready; no big deal. When I picked it up the food was ready and smelled wonderful! The cashier was very friendly and the individual by the front door was congenial and upbeat. I didn't think it was very expensive for what I got. I was surprised when I was told they never closed during the height of the pandemic. The food here is really good. They are NOT doing the buffet, you can only order from the menu and masks must be worn unless you are eating. I'll go back.”

We were pleased with our experience here. The service staff were friendly and the food was really good. “WOWOW!!! This place is one of a kind !, we were stranded in New Mexico and came here by chance , this is a family owned restaurant. The food here is delicious . The most amazing welcoming service we had a wonderful experience it was like no other we ever had . MR Carlos and his Daughter were at our service sweet kind and very welcoming people we ate some delicious food they have great tamales and everything is fresh and homemade they are located near an enterprise car rental place and they open at 7 am they have moth authentic Mexican food and American food choices as well for others and children. It’s such a great restaurant very clean and cozy coffee here is really the best . Thank you Mr Carlos for having us”

“A misunderstanding lead to the wrong pizza being cooked(deep dish instead of bowl pizza)...but they fixed it asap..and gave us a free salad and the oops pizza for free!! And it was fabulous...my son's meat pizza was cooked to perfection!! And my gourmet bowl pizza was absolutely delicious ..esp with the salad to do with it!!! Thank you for making this bowl pizza and being so willing to substitute things like tomatoes without pause...it enables someone like me with grain and tomatoes allergies to enjoy pizza!!!”

The wait staff was very friendly and the food was hot and received in a timely manner. They took the time as a restaurant to meet our needs and never wavered in their attitude about it. I highly recommend coming to this place and this place is a staple for us as a family. Also doesn’t hurt that the owner is a very attractive blonde woman who has a great smile. “True 5-Star Experience: not only was the staff timely and attentive, they were kind. Portion sizes are perfect (very filling). We started with the complimentary bread and sweet fluffy butter. Ordered mozzarella sticks, bacon burger with bleu cheese and mild green chiles, burger (no cheese) with mild chiles, french fries, sweet potato fries, & seasonal veggie mix. The meals came with soup or salad, so we got both! Salad was full of healthy choices (kale, fresh lettuce, brussel sprouts, tomato, cucumber...). Tried a green chile filet mignon soup--wowza YUM! Burgers were cooked perfectly (the bleu cheese was awesome!!), fries were hot and tasty. And of course, a light yet dense chocolate cake to top it off. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing by. There is also a banquet room available. Thank you to JR, Desiree, and the other staff members.”

“Home cooking at its New Mexican Finest. Really nice staff, homey diner feel, and a pretty extensive New Mexican menu, with mix and match combos. The flour tortillas were made there, and they were fresh, fluffy, thick and pillowy soft, and really excellent with the Mexican-style broth and tomato based beef stew with big chunks of beef, potatoes, carrots, and lots of aromatics. My husband really enjoyed the beef fajitas and the plate has a delicious assortment of condiments to go with the fluffy tortillas and juicy beef. I *loved* the stew, it was super satisfying after a cold, dry long day hiking, and it really hit the spot, perfectly seasoned, and the broth was so soothing.”

“DO NOT judge a book by its cover! Oh my gosh, the bread was so fresh, and 6" sandwiches were filling. Veggies and condiments were distributed evenly. Not too much, not too little. You can get extra vegetables for a cost. I definitely suggest getting your bread toasted. It adds such a good flavor to the sandwich, also softening the bread like it came fresh out of the oven. For dessert, the first donut that caught our eye was the apple fritter. Baked to perfection, crisp, thin, and a good amount of apples in and glaze on the fritter.”

The place was loaded with truck drivers waiting for their takeaway, but we could sit down and dine in. Portions are excellent and the taste is good. Mild really is mild, so if I where to eat there another time, I’ll opt for spicy! Service is great and friendly.”
