“Passing through town and stayed at a hotel. Went here for an early dinner around 5:00pm. The Monday special was Country Fried Steak, so I ordered it. The meal came with green (or pinto) beans, split pea soup (or salad), potatoes (your choice), and a roll to go with the HUGE flattened, breaded, and fried steak. The soup was served first and it was absolutely amazing. I had never before eaten split pea soup so I was worried about how it would be. Oh my goodness! Get some if it is available. The green beans were specially prepared, not just poured from a can and heated and were very good. I got mashed potatoes with (white) gravy and they were good. The steak was definitely something that I would recommend as it was perfectly cooked and very tasty. This was an awesome dining experience as I was solo and sat at the counter bar! Highly recommend stopping here for a meal.”

“So we decided to try something different and this was different. The chips and salsa was good, salsa was spicy. Ordered a side quacamole which was good. I had chicken soft tacos with rice and beans and was surprised they came smothered. My husband had a trio combo with a taco, enchilada and tamale, again with rice and beans. I had tea and he had a soda. I was offered a refill once but his drink was dry for a long time. The waitress was not very attentive but the food was surprisingly good.”

“We were on a road trip and found Jerry’s randomly. I’m glad we did! Starting with the chips and salsa it was really good and fresh tasting. Our meals were all excellent and the portions are massive.If you leave hungry it’s your fault. I had Miguel’s delight and the enchiladas were great. “This Allsups is the same as any other Allsups, moderate cleanliness, cashiers are mostly friendly and helpful, rarely you'll encounter a pissed off cashier. They have a small restroom, it's ok and useable. They have an atm and hot food, variety of chips and snacks. Four gas pumps and in an open area. Parking lot needs improvement though.”

“Anita's shredded red pork burrito was so delicious. I didn't bother with any other toppings and if there was an option to add any other fillings, I didn't see it but it didn't really matter as the shredded pork was so flavorful. It was so good, I ended up going back the next night and ordering it again. Definitely worth the trip.”

“Once we got sat, the chips came out. The salsa had a good heat to it. We ordered the stuffed soppillias, one with chicken the other with shredded pork shoulder. Both were ordered Christmas style with a green chilli and red chilli sauce on them. The other plate was blue corn enchiladas with the green chilli, rice, beans, Anda plain soppillia for dessert. All three of us agreed that the stuffed soppillia with the shredded pork and green sauce was the best. This restaurant is off the highway and worth the stop. Don't let the neighborhood determine about staying. We will be back.”
