“The 3 stars are simply because 4 out of the 5 times I’ve gone to eat here, they have been out of so many ingredients that we end up ordering food we didn’t even want. Aside from that, I’ve always liked Carinos and find their food flavorful and delicious. I absolutely love the bread they bring you at the start with the herb infused olive oil to dip it in, it’s so good. The pastas are good, similar to Olive Garden. The portions are generous and we always have leftovers to take home. They have lunch specials during the weekdays, they do have beer and wine as well as various cocktails. They also offer a kids menu and the kids have the option to make their own pasta dish. Fun! Food wise, my family loves the calamari and I’m a sucker for their soups. They also have a Green Chile lasagna that’s quite tasty. Their desserts are a shareable portion. This place is great as long as their kitchen is stocked because when it is, we never leave disappointed.”

“As a connoiseur of Pad Se Ew, this place has a really good one. Lots of wok flavor. I was pleasantly surprised! The spice levels are on point so if you ask for a 5 (medium) it will definitely have some kick. Only downside is that prices shown on the menu photos on Google are outdated.”

“This is a sister restaurant to La Hacienda in Ruidoso, NM which is a decent Mexican food restaurant. I ordered the Flauta Plate and it was satisfying. The flautas were crunchy and had enough meat, the beans were alright, didn’t really like the Mexican rice. My daughter really enjoyed their Caldo de Res. She said it had good flavor and had a good ratio of meat and veggies. My youngest had the Enchilada Kid plate and it was nice that she was able to customize it to her liking, so she went with a green chicken enchilada which she finished. The tamales weren’t my favorite. I have no idea why they had cheese on top. I probably wouldn’t order them again. They offer agave margaritas in different flavors, they are made from ready mix and not fresh ingredients but they are enjoyable if you aren’t that picky. The inside of the restaurant could be updated, not much of an atmosphere. Prices ran around $10 a plate. I haven’t seen many Mexican restaurants in Alamogordo so if you are in the mood for Mexican food check this place out!”

“Very good hamburgers, they were juicy and well seasoned. Their fries had good texture, could have used a little more seasoning. Their drinks come with the nice crunchy ice, my family loved it. Very good place, the bathroom is in the back, next to the kitchen, but was nice and clean. There is no indoor dining, some outdoor chairs and they also deliver to your car.”

“Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Combo #2 with a large 3 meat pizza, crazy bread, and sauce for $11.99. The pizza was good, a bit on the oily side but good. Generous with the topping, good amount of sauce, and the crust was very soft. The crazy bread was crazy bad though... Something about the bread or cheese on top gave it a chalky texture on top Ambience: n/a - ordered food to go. It feels like a mix between new and old equipment as some look like brand new and others have seen better years Service: 5/5 - the 5 is specifically for the male cook that stepped out to assist. He was patient while we looked over the menu since the drive through had different options than inside. Friendly overall and gave us an estimated wait time that was spot on. When stepped back into the store when we realized we were missing the marinara sauce, he immediately came out of the kitchen area to assist again There was a female cashier that had a headset on that was outside by her car (with a smoke?). She stepped in while we were waiting for the pizza, said something to her coworker, then stepped out again. Value for price: 3/5 - decent pizza but with so much competition on the same street, probably would visit a competitor as they offer similar pizzas for cheaper price”

“I think the atmosphere was really nice and Texan/western. The food was kinda mid and I got fries with my steak and I was not impressed because kid you not they gave me like 5 singular steak fries (I added pictures and I swear I only took one bite of my steak because I forgot but this is what the steak comes with if you order steak fries). Sucks that they charge you for switching out your salad and beans. I also felt that the steak was really good but I wished there were roasted jalapeños or like more salt/pepper added. It wasn’t bad or anything and I would come again but I wasn’t particularly impressed.”

“Great and friendly service at this Starbucks location in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Its location is the closest to Holloman Air Force Base, and during the time we sat and enjoyed our peppermint hot chocolate and peppermint mocha coffee, several servicemen and women stopped by. We also ordered a ham and Swiss croissant sandwich, chocolate brownie, and a spinach feta wrap. They were delicious! Recommended. 5/5”

“The customer service was awesome, and the timeliness was right on point. However, I was not pleased at all with how my food was cooked.. the pizza as well as the boneless chicken bits were very dry (almost as dry as the surrounding desert 🌵) due to being over cooked. My favorite part of the pizza, which is the crust, looked and tasted like a pretzel 🥨. I wasn’t sure if I was eating bread bites or chicken bites because It was so dry…the best part of my meal was the ranch dressing. I am new to Alamogordo but I don’t think I’ll be using this Dominos 😢”

“My first time getting food from here. All I can say is this was worth the wait in line. The decorated trailer has a good southern feel to it. Enjoyed the music being played. “Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. I ordered the number one combination that came with a chili rellano, two enchiladas, a taco, and a couple of large spoonfuls of meat chili in a green sauce. Everything was super delicious! One of the things that took me by surprise was a white sauce they served along with the chips and salsa. At first I thought it was ranch dressing but when I tasted, I knew it wasn’t. The waiter told me it’s sour cream mixed with chilies and cilantro. It rocked! Excellent service too!”

“We happened to be charging across the street during lunch and decided to try one of the few Asian places in town. Overall the main dishes were pretty bland. The pho was nicely herbed with lemongrass, but the broth lacked any depth of flavor and the meat seemed not salted. The pad Thai tasted mostly like soy and the included peanuts were actually burnt. The fish balls were good tho. And they a pretty fine selection of tea to choose from. Despite these complaints we left 3 stars cause we appreciate the fact it's not overly fried or goopy and tasted pretty fresh and light. Would try again if we were around longer. If you're looking for an Asian fix in town, this might be your place.”

“Don’t let the outside sway you away from this establishment. Not the fanciest place but it does the job when food is concerned. My family ate here as our last meal in Alamogordo. They choice burgers as they had a special and I choice the green chile relleno & cheese enchilada combo plate. I’m not a meat eater so this was the best choice for me. The service was slow as there was only one waitress and maybe 1 cook. I would say my families stomach was not a fan of the burgers. They all experienced a trip to the bathroom when we got home. Would advise letting them know how you like your food cooked. They sell everything from breakfast items to steak. Also, they charge for fries when it comes to sandwiches. And sauce (red or green) as it relates to the burritos.”

“If you want a burger in Alamagordo, this seems to be the way to go. It did feel like the record needle screeched to halt and everyone stared for a moment, but that's usually a great sign! You fill out a card that builds your meal and turn it in at the register, if it's for "here" they bring it to you. I wanted to try a lot of things. So our bill was a little high ($69 before tip, for 3 of us). We got fried pickles, jalapeno poppers and extra side of green chili fries and then 3 burger meals. I got the 3/4 lb burger. Meat was fantastic and I requested the perfect toppings, if I do say so myself (ha ha), however I will probably try to 1/2 lb next time, as it was 3 separate 1/3 burgers stacked. If that's the way you are going to make it, that's cool, just be sure to slap a piece of cheese between each layer and let people know they're getting a triple. The fried pickles were spears. Tasted from a box, but fried perfectly. Fried jalapeños, same story (cream cheese), green chili fries def made in house and we all LOVED the burgers.”
