Cafe Sierra Negra

This is my favorite place to eat on 84. I love their green chile stew. You can't beat the atmosphere. And, there's always interesting art on display. That gold rock, wow!

A great place to eat! I loved the counter with freshly baked coffee cake, carrot cake etc. The music was on and i was greeted by several friendly staff. I had heard the cookies were great but they were already sold out today. I ordered the fish tacos and they are really good. I definitely wanted more food so be sure to order something else if you have a big appetite. The coffeecake was good but not amazing.The only down side is that it took over 35 minutes to get my food to go. So be patient or call ahead. Additional info: plenty of parking, dog friendly,one restroom for everyone, spacious inside and out with shaded patio.

Beautiful place for lunch. Tasty fish tacos, huevos rancheros with green chile stew, & then deserts. We waited for the carrot cake to finish cooking & preparation, & the small wait was well justified. Plus the brownie & Basque cheese cake were delicious.

This is a new addition to Abiquiu eats as of January 2021 ! And Wow! So good ! Lunch and an early dinner.! Update December 2021 : oh still so good food, beautifully presented. Delicious really. Now there is a baker making all of the cakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls yum. And what a careful and generous welcome. Café Sierra Negra, you are a destination for my family.

Wonderful food that's very fresh. This cafe gives many places in Santa Fe a run for their money. If your driving through Abiquiu, definitely stop by and get some amazing food. The carrot cake is also delicious
