Super cute, small family owned cafe. Enchiladas and handheld breakfast burrito were very tasty, and the woman there has been running it for over 30 years

Now this is an Absolute Gem in the rough country. From the homestead tools and equip to the cast iron butter churns. You find something cool about the pictures and history. The Lady is a darling and so friendly and nice, Never once let my coffee go dry. Even made a fresh pot just for me. The food is homemade and cooked to order and could not be better even by special request. If you are passing through you would be derelict in your duty if you didn’t stop in for a bite.

I dined there with girlfriend during a visit to Ojo Caliente Hot Springs a few years back. The red/green enchilada plate was very
enjoyable and affordable. We liked the old style decor with photos and memorabilia too. Completed our experience of rural New Mexico and its beauty. FYI, The movie Young Guns was filmed here for a shootout scene.

My wife and I stopped here after checking out from Ojo Caliente mineral spa. I enjoyed the step back in time not only in decor, but they actually make your food like they did back in the day. Homemade. I absolutely loved my breakfast which came topped with green chili. I haven't tasted any better. Well worth a little wait. Sweetest ladies I've ever met. Will return every time we're in town.
