“Great food, excellent service. We decided to go to the new Taco Mex y Mariscos on Southern in Rio Rancho. Today we did the drive through since we were in somewhat of a hurry to get home. Myself and my daughter ordered the Cocktail de camerones, and an watermelon Agua Frescas. Oh my goodness. Our cocktails were fresh, nice and chilled, with giant shrimp, diced cucumber, tomato, avocado, purple onion, radish, cilantro and lime juice. The broth was full flavored and a little spicy. It came with a packet of tapatio if you want it more spicy hot. And with lots of crackers. Good crackers too and lots. They were SO friendly at the drive through, like seriously they greet you with a smile and really good service. You just cant find mexican shrimp cocktails anywhere and these were so good, refreshing and flavorful. The veggies and shrimp were very fresh. We'll definitely be back to try more things. Next time were going to get the berria tacos!”

“First of all I wanted to say how cherished we felt as soon as we walked in the door. I had only heard stories of Mediterranean hospitality from movies and stories told to me as a kid and for the first time ever I felt that when I went to Alquds. Our server was so kind and attentive. Despite my own trials ordering from their menu the way I would have ordered from the previous restaurant he amended our order until it had EVERYTHING that we wanted in it. The real treat for me was this: they make the best hummus I've had since I was a child. My grandmother and I frequented a Mediterranean bakery in Gainesville, Florida that specialized in only pita and hummus. That was always my best reference for authentic hummus and pita my entire life and I never tasted it to that level of quality again until yesterday when I tried Alquds Hummus. The texture was the best I've ever had. Period. The tahini was so balanced and the olive oil was the most wonderfully earthy and spicy flavor I prefer over fruity oil. The Chicken Tawook and rice was amazing. I couldn't have been happier. But to finish it all off the pistachio baklava made everyone in our party melt with satisfaction. Alquds is truly your authentic portal to the Mediterranean. I will be going there again VERY soon.”

“If you're addicted to Thai Kitchen and need a backup, since they are closed on Saturday, there's an alternative in Rio Rancho, in the old Smokehouse BBQ building, next to Dutch Bros. I tried their Massaman curry, always a great measure of Thai food. The coconut milk was sweet & ordering hot spice was just right to trigger an endorphin rush, making my nose run, but manageable. Order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. Beverqges are refilled by restaurant staff. Beautiful epoxy concrete floor and simple Thai decor in the walls.”

“What an excellent brunch! The ambiance was lovely, cocktails were delightful, even the mimosas were good and I've had mimosas in Vegas at the Paris buffet that I did not enjoy. These were so delightful! My mother in law got a flight and all four selections were good! Chicken was tender and juicy and crunchy! Compared to Nexus brewery chicken n waffles it dominated in flavor and cook on the chicken! Size is smaller than Nexus but I was full at the end. Delightful experience 👍🥲”

“This is a convenient location and the best price for fuel at any Shell I've seen in the area recently ($3.79 for regular as of today, 26 Jul 2022). The only downside is the free air machine... it doesn't put out much and barely increased my tire pressure. I'm not sure if it needs replaced, or if that's how it always is, but the Shell I use where I live (elsewhere in the state) has one that works extremely well... so I was surprised to find this one working so poorly. Yes, it's free, but what's the point if it doesn't do much? I haven't been inside the store, so I cannot review that or the employees.”

I ordered 2 Al pastor & 2 Cabeza tacos, the Birria tacos, my wife had the flautas and my daughter the ceviche de camaron tostadas. “I've been going to this food truck for several months. I have met the hard working brother and sister. I've also met the hard working parents. Small family producing a quality food that is authentic to mexico. Not new mexican. The quality is great. I always see fresh meats and other ingredients. Customer service is amazing. I have never had an issue with this place. Quality food is not cheap and thier food is worth every penny they charge. Everything is always very clean. Couldn't be more pleased. “Fantastic food truck creations. The Duke was awesome. The flovorful lean beef steak and spicy chopped hotlink blended perfectly with the grilled onions, chile, and cheese. The bun was perfect too... great fresh flavor and it didn't get soggy. We got our food at Brewlab 101 and it was an excellent match for the peach cider. We'll definitely keep an eye out for BigBoss' truck so we can try the other items on the menu.”
