What a find! An authentic saloon. People were friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing. Sharp Shooter is a pastrami on rye that was sooo good! Menu includes traditional sandwiches with a gourmet flair and some special ingredients like elk.

We live in Santa Fe and just heard about this wonderful restaurant with a very unique European flair in a rustic saloon setting. We had friends in town and decided to go try it out. Oh my God. It was delightful. The food was so unique. Fresh. And Patrick the owner could not have been more friendly and welcoming. I will be telling everyone about this lovely place. And will be returning very soon.

A gourmet diamond in the rough. As you're traveling the Turquoise Trail make sure to turn off and visit the town of Los Cerrillos for lunch or a snack. Black Bird Saloon is a destination not to be missed with a surprising gourmet menu. We shared the Avocado at First and Main and the Black Bird Sliders...both were delicious. This is as good as anything in downtown Santa Fe. A great place to relax off the beaten path. Can't wait to go back!

Really good unique food in a cute little town. We had the potatoes fried in goose fat, thin crispy fries, bone marrow toast, the El Chivato Burger, and the Trail Blazer that had blue cheese, blueberry mustard, and an elk Burger. Everything was really good. We made a little day trip out of it from ABQ.
