Yum! Quick and fast Chinese food. Food was hot and fresh, lots of flavor! Ordered kung poa (spicy) chicken lunch special, came with egg roll and choice of soup. Would definitely come again!
Food was hot, fresh, tasty, and a good value. We had the dinner for 2 special with extra broccoli, egg drop soup, and dumplings. There were plenty of leftovers as well. The atmosphere and service was very good. Place was clean as well. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures.
Most Chinese restaurants are fairly bland and consistent, so what I look for is a restaurant that pays attention to the smaller points of their recipes. I must admit I was quite surprised at the quality and little touches on each dish here. The chicken sticks had a lightly crisp texture on the outside, and tender on the inside. The Crab Rangoon was light and crispy, where so often it's rubbery and dense. My litmus test for Chinese restaurants is the fried rice. A good restaurant will give even the fried rice attention. So many are bland and clearly an afterthought. But here they did the seasoning right, with a slight difference on their mix to make it genuinely good. Only tried it once so far, but this will be my go-to in Santa Fe for Chinese food from now on.
