Sabroso Restaurant & Bar

A fabulous restaurant and all-around casual cocktail venue. The atmsophere consisting of several intimate indoor rooms, a piano bar, and a splendid outdoor, covered patio makes Sabroso an absolutely satisfying place to bring your family and friends. The menu is positively perfect. My choice of the daily special, salmon on a bed of veggies and pilaf, was probably the best fish dish that I've ever had.

My friend who has lived in Taos for 40+ years guided me here and I'll be back for sure. The live guitar music and vocals in 3 languages provided on this particular Friday night by Charlie B. was unique with a touch of international romance. His skill is incredible and rewarded the patrons with a peaceful and heartfelt dining experience.

Food was delicious. Service couldn't get much better. Very nice atmosphere. Best fish and chips I've ever had. Truffle fries were very tasty.

This restaurant is very consistent, I been coming here for several years now, and every time I left satisfied with the food and the service.
In the summer the best is to seat outside is my favorite, but the inside is very charming.
This time I order what I thought it will be a small dish, but I was wrong. the fish and chips was substantial, and let me tell you it was SABROSO for sure is in my top 5 fish and chips I ever had (i travel a lot and fish and chips it’s always in my list).
You should totally try it.
Oh and by the way, I will recommend to make a reservation ahead of time they are busy most of the time.

Amazing food and environment. If you can sit in the bar, do yourself a favor and sit fireside in the 250 year old building which exudes New Mexico history. The food and the service are world class in this picturesque restaurant.
