Sunday night had a live musician which made the atmosphere enjoyable. We sat the bar area as the dining area was full.
The bison burger was not bad, just not worth $26.
The Abuelitas pork stew with blue corn chips was excellent. Best we've had in NM so far. Very tasty with very lean yet tender meat.
The staff was efficient, somewhat attentive, forgot a few requests. You can tell the waiter was a bit overwhelmed, only one working the bar table area.

My husband and I stopped here one evening while in Taos. We tried their Chile relleno which was absolutely delicious. I loved the presentation with the pepitas. The outer shell was so good and crunchy. We also had their salsa and chip. The salsa was super spicy but tasty. My husband had a margarita and he said it was the best one he’s had on our trip. Being pregnant, they made me a non-alcoholic margarita using passionfruit I believe and it blew me away. It’s hard to get a good mocktail, but I am still dreaming about this concoction to this day. Service was awesome and we really enjoyed being able to sit outside.

Our burgers were top notch, cooked perfectly and the toasted bun was perfection. I cannot thank our server enough for her enthusiastic answer to my inquiry of the green chili cheesecake. Oh my! Sweet, spicy and crispy fried in a house made tortilla. It was plated with macerated strawberries and drizzled with chocolate sauce. It’s not a huge portion so there are zero reasons to not experience this unique and delicious dessert!

We made reservations for Christmas Day a few days prior and we’re surprised to find they still had open times. We had a love corner booth. The shrimp appetizer was good, but pretty small and we didn’t realize it was fried.
The dinner portions were quite large. The coating on the chili rellenos was made in house and fantastic. The rice and beans were wonderful. The desserts were unique and sounded fantastic, but we didn’t save room.
Service was a bit slow, but to be expected on such a busy day. We would definitely return to taste more menu options. Cheers p

Everything was fantastic. Chili relleno, queso fundido, and carne asada were stellar. Perfect Margarita earned it's reputation. Get a reservation, because there aren't many restaurants downtown any more.
