We just moved to Taos several months ago and have been here 3-4 times.... food has always been good (fresh sushi), service for most part good...but as some others have mentioned in their reviews, the owner is kind of arrogant and rude. Torn between continuing to patronize his place or find another Japanese restaurant.
The best Sushi in New Mexico. The wait staff is friendly and kind, the cooks know how to make his Japanese food, and the sushi chef is amazing.
Extremely fresh, artistically prepared, authentic sushi in Taos, NM! We have dined here several times and have had consistently great culinary experiences. I highly recommend Sushi A La Hittori if you are looking for high quality sushi, and other authentic Japanese dishes.
Amazing Sushi and so very fresh. They use real crab meat in their California rolls, Dragon rolls, and other sushi rolls having crab meat. Their calamari appetizers are thick delicious and very tender lightly breaded - simply spectacular. Their sushi chef is Japanese and came here from California. He really knows his stuff. He takes a little time making them but his attention to detail and perfection makes the sushi well worth the wait. Plus we were there on a Friday night and the place was packed so he was very busy. If you love Sushi and can't make it to Japan for genuine sushi, then then this is the next best place. 🙂
