I have tried almost all the coffee blends that Crown Street Roasting has to offer and not one of them has been bad. I have loved every coffee they have. I also drink my coffee black and the flavors in Crown Street's are amazing. You can taste the flavors and it's not too strong. I will be going to Crown Street on a regular basis now.”

“First let me say that Rose, the bartender/server was outstanding. She greeted us immediately and brought out menus, told us what her favorites were, and mixed a great cocktail. Unfortunately for Rose the kitchen was not quite at her level. We ordered the salmon with horseradish sauce and the beer can chicken but they were out of the salmon so I got the Shepard's Pie and my dining companion ordered the beer can chicken. Both were excellent and we had a side of green beans. There was an issue with the green beans but Rose had them made up again and they were excellent. Food was very good..beer can chicken was moist and delicious and Shepard’s Pie was excellent. She offered us to free desserts for all of the challenges that we had which we gratefully accepted. The desserts were very good. White and dark chocolate cake and pecan cheesecake. Rose's handling of all the little bobbles made up for any issue. She's great! I will absolutely return.”

“The prices are a little bit higher than the restaurants in the area, but they offer fine dining, and work quite hard to please their guests. I had stomach surgery a month ago, so went on a rather restricted diet. I couldn't order anything from the menu, but the chef made what I needed and wanted without anyone once saying, "we can't.. " Our party was there for 2.5 hours and we had constant attention for drinks, etc. While I said the prices are a little higher, we still had seven for under $300. We all had appetizer and dessert too! The creme brulee is excellent.”

It is hidden and out of the way, you might miss it- probably done intentionally because if everyone could find it they’d be closed because they would be sold out of the best cheese steaks this side of Philly! Service was above and beyond excellent, two of the friendliest people in Jamestown behind the counter. I’m from Buffalo but next time we’re in Chautauqua- this is a must stop!”

“My wife and I enjoy this place in the weekends for breakfast. The meals are tasty, filling, and well priced. Definitely try the cheesy Gabriel casserole - it's awesome! Today I had my first lunch experience here. My wife had a patty melt, I had the double cheeseburger. We both enjoyed the meals and they were the perfect size. A couple things to remember... This is a small place, so it can be crowded enough during weekend breakfast/brunch to cause wait times for seats. Also, they only take cash, so plan accordingly. There is an ATM in the restaurant to make things easier if you forget the cash at home :-)”
