“My stomach was growling so looked at Google Maps for restaurants in Walton. I noticed the good reviews so decided to stop in. The reviews were spot on. It's located across the street from Speedway Gas Station. I ordered a cheeseburger deluxe. I wish the Burger was a little bigger, but other than that it was perfect. The bun was soft. The burger was juicy. There was a good amount of french fries and they were perfect. Forget McDonald's food. Stop in T A's Place for a nice Country diner with delicious food.”

“I was in the area visiting a vendor of ours, and they took us here for lunch. The menu is fairly large, but not so large that you struggle to make a decision. Check the chalk board on the way in for the specials. Three of us went with the meatball parm sandwich and a side of fries, which was a special for the day. The sandwich was great. Proportions were right on, and the meatballs tasted great. No issues with the fries either. All three of us agreed that it was a good choice. I'd also like to say that the staff all seemed very friendly. If you happen to find yourself in the area and are looking for something to eat, I'd recommend stopping by here. Look forward to stopping here my next trip up there.”

“My wife and I spent two nights in the hotel at the end of June. When we went downstairs for the free breakfast, Rob, the co-owner talked to us for over an hour. That evening, we spent some time in the bar area and Elyce, the other owner and Rob's wife, came to our table and spoke with us for about 30 minutes. They are two of the nicest people I have met in a long time. They make you feel as if you have known them your entire life. It was refreshing to speak with someone my age with similar life experiences who I believe were talking to us out of genuine kindness. Their daughter waited on us for lunch on Saturday and was exceptionally patient with my less than easy to deal with father and sister. Not many people I know have as much grace as she showed while dealing with their, let's call them idiosyncrasies. The food was excellent and reasonably priced with large portions. Although the Beaver-Del is a 9 hour drive from were we live in Virginia, we definitely plan on visiting here again.”

The renovations they did are beautiful and they didn’t loose sight of buildings character. It’s decor adds to its charm. Dinner was delicious and we spent a lot of time by the cozied up by the fire with wine and cider. Perfect girls get away!”
