“Just had my birthday party at Solé on Saturday; I booked with Leanne. Her and her team were great to work with! I booked the open bar “sandbar package” it was 45 per person for 3 hours, included all premium liquors wine and beers. The bartenders were great, they always are! I decided to book this venue after attending another open bar there and had such a great time. So I can say 2/2 successful events there in my book! Highly recommend working with them if you are looking to book a birthday, celebration, or even a happy hour.”

“This location is good, the service is good but the wait is TOO LONG. It’s actually unbelievable how long you are expected to wait. I have had to wait over 40 minutes for my drink, on multiple occasions. I think the app needs a feature to tell us when the order is ready to be picked up, since the 12-15 minutes estimate is NOT correct for this location.”

“When I grew up in the 60's my family bought a bsckyard pool since swimming in Lake Erie was nasty. Without yhe steel plant. The water is much cleaner and the state did a nice job creating this park. I love the broadwalk to the beach a short nature walk that did not diistroy the wetlands that lead to the shore. Once on the beach it is well groomed sand well guarded and very clean. Western New York has gotten so much nicer since the late 70's.”

“Casual dining with higher end food. Great ingredients — I really enjoyed the beet salad as well as the battered cod sandwich. The menu is interesting and has something for everybody. “Just wanted to make a comment about the owner. I went to DOS on the Lake a couple of weeks ago and had a very large party attending for apps and drinks. When we arrived, we thought we would be able to get a few tables together. It was on a Wednesday and the host explained they were booked and wouldn't be able to accommodate us for about an hour and a half. To my surprise, the owner overheard our conversation and as I turned around trying to figure out where our party would go, he, without hesitation, took us to the outside area, waited on us and served us! This man is a class act!! I just went there again today with friends and saw him again on our way out. He was sitting near the door thanking customers as they left. The owner thanking customers! I reminded him and thanked him for his hospitality then and now. He walked us out thanking us. He is very professional and friendly!! I will always recommend going to DOS on the Lake!!”

“We had such a great time here during the bills game. The drinks are huge and yummy, the food was pretty good for having so much competition in Buffalo, and the owner was fantastic. “We often feel rushed at this specific location, which makes everything else not as good, but they were on their game tonight. There have been many times when we might have a half eaten appetizer, bread, salad, and the meal all pushed at us at once, but our server, Claire, was by far the best we've had. Her timing was perfect. She paid attention and brought out the courses each at the right time - allowing us to enjoy the last tastes from the previous course before giving us what was up next. I think the place got a new chef or something, because everything was better - especially the breadsticks and the sauces. Tasty and happy.”

“I have visited this location three different times, always during the week about an hour before the restaurant closes. As other individuals have noted, there has never been a hostess to greet me at the door and it usually does take a few minutes for a server or the bartender to realize you are there. It would be nice if they would change this since it's been mentioned several times by other customers, but perhaps there are legitimate constraints that make this situation a reality. With that said, I am in love with the spinach artichoke dip because the spinach is not overcooked and mushy. The appetizer is quite filling if you are not very hungry. Bartender and staff have always been friendly to me.”
