“We live right next door to this place and have been saying we would order for a while now and finally did today and we are more than happy with what we got. The subs were delicious and generously sized. I got the root 9 and was so excited that they had a good vegetarian option. It was so delicious!! “Wish I found this place sooner. I tried a few of the local restaurants and was disappointed. Parking was nonexistent, and food wasn’t that great. On my third day in the area I found this place. It’s beautiful. Big parking lot too. They have a great bar menu and a great dining room menu. Happy Hour was buy one get one. After great deliberation, I decided on the hot pastrami sandwich and a side of fries. Excellent. Since I’m in the area for another day I’m planning on going back tomorrow. Think I will try something off the dining room menu. Barry the owner was telling me about the quality of the steaks and the pork chops. It was making my mouth water even after finishing my dinner. I felt very welcome there. If your in the area and deciding where to go, do yourself a favor. Stop here.”

“As a fan of specialty coffee from cities like Philly NYC and Chicago, this place is really excellent for where they are. They take care to dial in the perfect shot of espresso. Although some baristas are better than others there’s very few cafe’s in the ADK’s that are performing at this level. Thanks guys!”

“Roadside grill right on Rt 9 just outside of Schroon. We sat outside. Everyone was friendly and service was good. Cool rustic vibe. For some reason I spaced out and ordered a fried seafood platter. This is not a fried seafood platter kind of place. It had been a long day on the road and my judgement for menu item selection was off. Would not recommend the fried seafood. I feel that the wheelhouse would be smoked/grilled meat. Will give it another shot next year.”

“We first stopped by Witherbee’s for the fund raiser for the Schroon Lake Community Church and we liked the place so much that we have been back multiple times. The food is always top shelf and staff is very attentive especially Kendra. We love the atmosphere and enjoy the live music. Our new go to place for our date nights.”
