“Dinner or drinks at the Captain's never disappoints. We have brought family and friends and often we just go as a couple. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is consistently good, and the specials are really special. We enjoy the view anytime of year. In the colder months it is nice to sit by the wood burning fireplace before or after a meal. A drink or two at the bar is something we look forward to. The Captain has a lot of great stories to tell and we never get tired of learning more about his adventures.”

“The atmosphere was very nice and comfortable. Also, the restaurant itself was very pretty on the inside (at least in my opinion). Despite the nice setting to dine for lunch, I wasn't too happy with the food and drinks. I had some pizza, fries, and a Dr. Pepper. Personally, the pizza was too greasy and the drink just tasted kinda bad. I assume it's the water they use since a couple of classmates of mine had complained how bad the water tasted. So, the soda didn't take like it should be. The only thing I enjoyed was the French fries. They were really good... The wait time wasn't bad at all. I think we waited for about 20 minutes for food. The staff were also nice too. Another troubling thing was the ketchup bottle. We all had an issue with it and I just think there should be a squeeze bottle or something to be used since no one at our table could get the ketchup out.”
