“It’s cute ! A lot of selection when it come to Kosher options . I’m not of the religion at all , but the front guy was really helpful in guiding me through the options. The back guy where you pick up just let me pack my own food to go with forks and all , maybe because he didn’t think I wasn’t dining there or part of the community but it is what it is . The food , delicious”

“Thrilled beyond compare to have Royal Crown II in Brooklyn for more than delicious bread! Everything has been so tasty. Officially my go to for bread, breakfast, and dinner (and every so often for something sweet too ☺️). As a Staten islander turned Brooklynite, I am happy to have the same great food from “home”.”

“It really is a nice place to go before or even after a Brooklyn Cyclones game! Love the many varieties of beer! Even though they just started selling food, the types of options are very good!”

“This is a top notch Kosher spot, we had them cater our event, they made us a beautiful salad platter and sent fanatstic pastries. Great customer service too! 10/10 would recommend!”

“I had the classic Okonomiyaki. It was delicious. I’ve made my own a few times before and was delighted to have the chance to try one made from a restaurant. It was light and full of cabbage and the flavors were great. I bought this at smorgasbord in Prospect park and it only took a few minutes to come out.”

“Ten Ichi Mart & Deli is a Japanese / Asian grocery selling a variety of Asian grocery items, snacks, candies, beers and more. there’s also a nice selection of pre-packaged sushi rolls and hot foods like rice bowls. the store is very clean, bright lit, and neatly organized. the grocery section is packed with a variety of food items from Japanese ingredients, packaged foods, and frozen foods. there’s some seating toward the front of the grocery if you want to sit and eat. prices are competitive with most other Japanese groceries and other Asian specialty stores. have been here multiple times and have been really satisfied with everything i got. my favorite treat here are the Japanese ice cream wafers ($2 + tax)…so good. grabbed a Karaage Don ($8.99 + tax) —a fried chicken rice bowl for dinner and i was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the fried chicken chunks, the rice, veggies and other toppings…definitely a great option when you’re too lazy to cook. staff are efficient and friendly”

“Lovely and quaint cafe serving everything from smoked salmon avocado sandwiches to Colombian beef empanadas! Loved this spot for getting some work done with great music. Very friendly staff and obsessed with their chai latte and iced tea. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!”

“Tonchin in midtown has been one my top ramen spots for years, so when I’ve heard about another location opening in Williamsburg I could barely hold my excitement. Little did I know that it’ll blow my expectations out of the water. Everything was simply above and beyond. The food is delicious. Not just ramen — we’ve tried their wagyu carpaccio, yakitori, and white fish tartare. If I had to find something to improve it’s that some beef pieces were a bit tough. The meatballs on both skewers were incredible. The white tartare melted in my mouth exploding with flavors perfectly balanced in all the right places. Carpaccio was paired with (marinated?) chives and mustardy sauce. I wanted to lick the plate after every appetizer. The smoked dashi ramen didn’t disappoint either with its ridiculously flavorful broth and meaty pieces of menma that felt like they were just charred over an open fire. I also loved how well-done everything felt besides food — the decor is very organic; think Muji, with its soft colored pastel ceramic plates, wood accents and diffused lights. As if this wasn’t enough, our waiter came with a charming British accent and was attentive and just the right amount of helpful, the dishes came out fast and without any hiccups, the sake recommendation was on point. The price point is a bit high and I wish they served cocktails. It also gets pretty loud. Other than that, a must visit when in the area.”

““No fries left behind” should be Paper Plate’s tagline bc their fries are just that delicious, but they also serve burgers so my ad line doesn’t quite work. ha. anyway, came across Paper Plate at Smorgasburg, Williamsburg. the small stand serves a less-is-more menu: burgers, fries, and soft drinks. your eats are made to order so they are served fresh and hot, hot, hot. ordered the “Plated Fries” —shoestring fries + onions + special sauce. while i regret not ordering a burger from Paper Plate—i sorta don’t bc the French fries were amazing and super-filling—wouldn’t have fully enjoyed those fries with the distraction of a cheeseburger. less is more, often. the fries are crispy, soft inside, not oily. top those fries with onions and special sauce to add creamy savoriness and sweetness to the crispy crunchiness. the Plated Fries are what i imagine delicious simplicity of fries should be. the longevity of the fries staying crunchy and how filling they were…pleasantly surprised me. the Plated fries are a little messy but we’ll worth it. no risk no reward. definitely, have become a fan of Paper Plate after one visit and will definitely be back for their burger. the Plated Fries are $7 + tax + tip the service was friendly and energetic.”

“Ovenly never disappoints! I tried the lemon brown butter shortbread this time and WOW. It melts in your mouth and was the perfect amount of sweet without being overwhelming. Cookies and cupcakes are always outstanding too. Great service here. It’s small inside at this location, but there was no wait when we were there on a Sunday morning.”

“The restaurant was clean and neat but I'm not a fan of this style acai bowl. This style is typical to about 70% of the acai bowl places in NYC (I end up making my own or going to the couple of places that I like). It was too sweet and came with things that I didn't want and each topping I'd want to add was 1.50 each. I'm used to the bowl having whey protein in it, but that's an extra 1.5. I didn't want coconut, so I just had that removed and I didn't need the honey. When I started to eat the bowl a lot of it was frozen. I'm not sure if they pre-made the bowl and froze it or if it froze during my 10min bike ride. I pass this way everyday on my way to work so I was hopeful, but if I stop back, i would just try a smoothie.”

“A really cool Mexican style/themed bar with the food to back it up and amazing cocktails. Do yourself a favour and hit up Taco Tuesday where you can get 4 tacos for $12 rather than the usual 3 for $15. All the tacos taste great, do go with a few people so you can share them. Even if you don't want to eat, the cocktails are worth the trip just for themselves.”

“So I walked to this location for snow crabs, only to notice ownership and business had changed. I gave it a shot. It was really fresh and the staff were friendly. Tried their home Cajun sauce, definitely less salty (Plus for me) than others and a little more sweet. Definitely looking forward to trying my fav garlic and butter sauce next time.”

“Enjoyed one of my memorable dinners at Nota Bene Georgian cuisine Brooklyn new york. Their service was top-notch and according to my needs. The staff was friendly and took care of my comfort. I ordered three dishes and received them in the next 15 minutes. Must say their food service was fast as expected. The best part was that I ate my favorite dishes at a reasonable price at this place. Highly recommend this place.”

“They either need a new chef or teach the chef they have now; how to season food. I ordered via Grubhub. Food came fast and here’s my take. WHAT I ORDERED: Crown Heights Lobster Roll w Fries- NOW; while plentiful, what’s the point if the food is tasteless. The fries are fresh, and the fried lobster is a bit salty. Lobster Cheddar Biscuits- they’re too BIG and too cheesy. I see the lobster but I just can’t taste it. Overall, I wouldn’t order again. I like trying new restaurants locally.”
