Visited this site as a part of a scavenger hunt. My team won of course.
Keen$ter Rocks it every time!
IT IS PITCH BLACK. We went down the first day and realized we need way better lights than our phones! You need a really powerful light to really feel "okay" down there. We went back the second day with lithium lights and it made the experience alot better! Easier to see the art too! We entered at broad Street and walk all the way to where the blue Cross bridge is. I suggest doing that because it's really the only accessible entrance. First 100 feet is real creepy but it's very interesting down there. If your scared of the unknown don't go down there cause it's like that the whole walk lol.
Honestly for searching up "things to do near me", I'm glad this showed up. My friends and I went and bought one flashlight just for this experience. It was really cool and we didn't go to far. All the graffiti is either good art or just harmless stuff people tag. If you go with others, make sure everyone has their own flashlight. It is really dark in there and my group didn't make it to the end. For sure check it out if you have the time but be wary of rocks and garbage on the ground. There is also sometimes water that drips from the ceiling. Overall one of a kind experience.
We had a great time. It can be scary in the tunnel bc you can't see. Suggested definitely bring a flash light the phone doesn't cut it lol
