“Similar as others have mentioned, the bagels are good but the customer service could improve. I asked for a lox bagel with veg cream cheese with onion and tomato. I came home and noticed I got a lox bagel with regular cream cheese and nothing else. I think service can be improved but wanted to provide constructive criticism.”

“Our friends recommended us the Marie Blachere location in Manhattan and we visited the Great Neck location on our way to Garden City. The decor is wide-spaced and cozy with a lot of indoor & outdoor seating. The environment and ambiance is perfect as a place for breakfast or afternoon tea. Their pastry & bread options were various and we had 4 different pastries: Almond Croissant, Sugar Brioche, Blueberry Scone & Cinnamon roll. The pastries were overall not memorable and the price was kind of high with its portion in our opinions. Our favorite was the Sugar Brioche, which is soft & puffy but the delicacy of its texture wasn’t comparable with our other go-to bakeries.”

“Brand new pizzeria in Great Neck. Delicious BBQ and buffalo slices. The buffalo had no kick though. Once they dial it in, it'll be perfect. (Edit: They fixed the buffalo!) This place is a nice little family operation and they sheltered me during a freak hailstorm. Clean and very upscale decor. The tablecloths are a nice touch. They have a blueberry pizza that I need to try one of these days.”

“Ordered a ton of food and drinks here. Sandwiches are great and drinks are awesome. I especially enjoy the longan smoothie. Word of caution, I personally do not like pate in my Vietnamese sandwiches and always ask to exclude them. If you’re not familiar with pate, I advise you to do the same. Pate to my knowledge is grounded liver made into a paste to line the inside of sandwiches kind of like mayonnaise.”

“Solid. Got oolong milk tea, 30% sugar, less ice with herbal jelly. A good tea taste, just enough bitterness mixing with the sugar and creamer. Herbal jelly is a bit sweeter than ones I've tried at other spots but it's actually quite nice. Bonus: non-dairy creamer for the milk teas for the lactose intolerant.”

“Place has really gone downhill since the remodeling. The tables are so much smaller, there's no comfortable seating, and the general design of the Starbucks location doesn't give off the "Starbucks" vibe. The staff is fine, but the general asthenosphere of the location seems off. The lights on the right side are insanely bright, blinding customers when they look up and the blinds at the window seats let in too much light. I liked the old place more. ?”

“Just a little history of the business before this one, known as Mario's: This pizzeria used to be here was known as Mario's for a very long time and was owned by a completely different owner. I went there for years and it truly went downhill due to an uncomfortable management change, more aggressive customers becoming regulars at peak hours, the booths were very small, the phone was constantly broken (static and disconnections), the cost of the pizza increasing (while no changes to the pizza or anything extra). Also, believe it or not, in terms of delivery, they laid the cheese on sloppily all of the time causing an actually disgusting hardened sludge of cheese at a corner of the box... And I'm a cheese lover! It made me stop ordering extra cheese pizzas from them. They were not able to compete with their rivals, such as Gino's (which I love.) Now... Rosa's: My first order was in December. This is the kind of pizza you want. There are 3 options of pizza sizes I know of--a personal, 15", and awesome 18"! 18" is heaven. The pizza is just a little less expensive than Mario's, but there is a couple of things that make it not "basic." For one thing, the pizza sauce is mostly sweet, but has some gentle spices mixed into it. Everyone knows that the sauce is the most important part of the pizza. Also, they don't use the same sauce for EVERY red-sauce dish. They will NOT cheat you with toppings--you will get a great amount, if not more than expected, and that's great! Also, the extra cheese doesn't feel like a layer of cheese glued on top of it. They have a LOT of new options that Mario's did not have--for that, I recommend looking at their latest menu. A little bit of a NYC hue to it with the variety of food. And though their delivery time is about the same as Mario's (30-45 minutes), they have always brought me 18" pizzas with NO spillage. None! And I tested this with ordering heavier toppings! The first time I ordered from them, they actually gave me an order of garlic knots on-the-house. How cool is that??? Also, they were NOT hard like Mario's (a.k.a. selling leftovers), and this was in the evening! Soft on the inside with a crunchy outside, tied tight and covered in garlic butter and garlic! I've ordered and ate here a couple of times now and have not regretted or felt "this is good enough, I guess." It's March now, so they have a good track-record so far. Personally, I've always been a fan of more urban-style pizza, and the people who run the business know that and don't treat you with the Great Neck 'tude (I'm a resident of over 20 years). I hope they'll stick around in this ghost town and continue to grow! Much love from this Italian!”

“Very convenient spot inside the gym, they don’t have many meal options but they do have amazing juice. I love how it’s decorated and how open the space is. “Beautiful place for a quick bite of authentic brick oven pizza and wings. The wings are baked the way I like them and the pizza, thin crusts. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff. The hostess was one of the best I've met. Why 4 Stars? Only because I don't like my pizza or wings charred. That's a personal choice, so otherwise this place is exceptional.”
