“Bar Louie. The best place I’ve ever been to. My waitress Cat was the nicest and most caring waitress I’ve ever had at a restaurant in my life. She was so attentive and made sure we were pleased. If I were to start a new restaurant I would hire Cat and Cat only, because I’m sure she would do a perfect job and make all of the customers happy. If there was an option to rate her as a waitress more than a 5, she’d receive a 30. Overall great experience, would recommend to anyone i ever meet.”

“We arrived at 6:45 to get a table for something to eat before the band came on at 8:00. There are very few tables in the place and we we're lucky to get the last one available. We didn't get served our food until 7:50 after the waitress realized that our order was lost. We had tracked down our waitress 4 times. Too bad she didn't check on our order the first three times we asked. The sandwiches we're very good or maybe we we're just starving at that point. Thankfully, we we're not charged. Beers we're good and both beer and food were reasonably priced. The band was great.”

“Got here based on a recommendation from my wife's co-worker, and we arrived 30 minutes before the $15 door cover charge at 11pm. Place was as modern as could be. I'm no interior decorator so I was fine with it. Not very many patrons there maybe 10. Staff was very friendly, checking on everyone almost like if you were at there home which was cool. Music was a bit slow but kinda what my wife and I were looking for just a couple of days ago for a booth, music loud enough for everyone to enjoy but not too loud that you can't have a nice conversation without yelling and assuming what the other one said. But once 11pm and on rolled around more people were rolling in, music was starting to pick up and mixing it up for the crowd that was there which look like30- 35 and older.......drinks were not poured with a stiff hand and I like them strong......these were strong! Only 2 things left me a bit turned off 1) Glasses hanging at the bar over head were so dirty made you not want to drink your expensive strong drink, 2) I paid with my credit card and they automatically entered just shy of $10 tip on the slip to be signed for 2 drinks. Now granted the drinks were doubles but that only means double the alcohol not 4 drinks. Other than that I'll try them out again but would use cash the next time or see what happens if I order a different type of drinks how this auto tip works.”

“They get some of the best tribute bands on Long Island and they space them out on the schedule so it's not the same acts every few weeks. The cover charge is reasonable and they don't care whether you stay to hear the early band as well as the later one. Also I like that they have a coat check in colder weather. It's so nice to have that option rather than trying to stash it somewhere.”

“The experience here was one to remember. I wanted something I've never had before and I got the oxtail which was AWESOME. We came on a Thursday and the live band was great. They were complete with colorful party lights and the musicians were very skilled with great sound. This really added to the atmosphere. I love this place. Multiple birthdays going on including servers singing with Maracas and pouring rum into the mouth of the birthday person. A fun place that I would absolutely return to.”

“We were part of a large party with a buffet layout. We were sitting near a curtain which separated us from the rest of the restaurant patrons. Children (not belonging to our party) were playing, running, pulling on the curtain, and their volume was too distracting. Behind the bench seating was the bar, which was very loud at times because there were several football games broadcast at the same time. The food was just okay. The potatoes were overcooked and too hard to cut with a knife. The salmon was dry, the chicken lacked color, and the accompanying vegetables were limp. The eggplant parmigiana was very flavorful. The service was very good.”
