Quality Meats

Quality Meats provided a very pleasurable dining experience. The tomahawk ribeye was cooked to perfection. The sides were great and the service was top-notch. Would definitely go back.

Visited as a party of 15. There were bound to be some imperfections. Our reservation was for 7:30, but we didn’t get seated until 8 - I understand that sometimes a restaurant can’t help that a party hasn’t finished their meal. As with some previous reviewers, the temperature of our steaks did not meet our requests. Most medium rare orders came out medium/medium well. My medium rare double rib steak came out primarily black and blue, which I found unappetizing, so I swapped with my friends instead of sending it back. I was starving and I didn’t know when it would come back out because we were initially informed that rib steaks take about 45-60 minutes. Despite the extremely sharp appearance of the knives, they didn’t cut through the steak well.. That aside, the appetizers: scallops, bacon, parm fries, creamed spinach were delicious. Towards the end of the meal, I was still picking at the fries while the waiters cleared away the dishes, and swooped in for the fry tin. In a way, I guess it’s good that I was stopped from finishing them, but I was a little frustrated at the same time - he didn’t even ask if I was done

Quality Meats was recommended to us as 'the best steak in NYC' and we were not disappointed. The Porterhouse Share we stuck into was cooked superbly and the quality of the cut was excellent. The service was also excellent.

We had just got married and impromptu arrived at the restaurant without a reservation which is certainly very much needed most of the time! They did all they could to accommodate us and we received excellent service throughout dinner. A must visit if you are in the area and love Steak.
