Food is great. Super nice staff. Feels relax.
Really enjoyed Tom Douglas’ newest venture. Having been to his restaurants in Seattle, I was impressed with Jeannie’s. Had the salmon and it was well above expectation. Great space, wonderful service, fantastic food, and a great drinks list. Great work ?
The food is quite good and the price point is appropriate. The most appealing thing was that it was empty on a weekend for dinner. The service was friendly but uneven and you got the sense that there wasn’t a lot of good restaurant experience on the staff to help make things run smoothly. It feels like the Nordstrom flagship restaurants are the de facto employee cafeteria and the vibe takes a hit as a result (in the sense that you can feel like an outsider in a crowd of people who know each other)
Enter the new Nordstrom’s, go 2 levels down to LL2, turn right and you will find a couple casual restaurants and a coffee bar. We had an excellent lunch here. Fresh, interesting, very pleasant server, quick. This is a find for a casual lunch or supper in midtown that won’t break the bank. Attractive space. Very good cocktails and they do a happy hour too. I would highly recommend.
INVITING, CASUAL AND A FIND
in Midtown Manhattan, the new eatery in Nordstrom’s newest store is a good attraction all by itself. Simply stroll through the high-energy counters and clothing racks and down a floor. Try the toasties. Cocktails and service were grand.
