Came here for Brunch and it was good! The location is plenty big for parties although service was slow, waited about an hour and a half for entrees to come out. We were given a complimentary salad to alleviate some of the wait time. Drinks were tasty but limited number of speciality cocktails. Service was very nice and attentive, overall a good restaurant but was expecting a bit more after the countless referrals I’ve gotten!
Yum!! Started with the focaccia which was a unique combo of blackberries and black pepper - very good but wish they served it warmer. Watermelon and beet salad was lovely. But the pastas were fantastic — highly recommend the spaghetti which had a delicious crunchy top. Service was great except I didn’t like that they didn’t even offer us dessert but instead just quickly brought over the check when we finished with the main courses. As per other reviews it seems they are quick to usher people out the door which isn’t right. Knocking 1 star just for that otherwise would give 5 for the food.
Two thumbs way up! Epitome of class and elegance without the stuffiness of an upscale restaurant. The pastas were incredible, the service was impeccable and the dessert was solid too. The ambiance is perfect for date night, catching up with friends or just an outing for good food. Would highly recommend this to anyone in NYC.
I can say their burger is top 12 in NYC and the hanger steak was incredible as well. The burger was so juicy and the side, potatoes, and the sauce were great! Especially the hanger steak… melts in my mouth..
I’d love to go there again.
Thank you!!
Longtime neighborhood gem that has gone viral with Instagram-types, L’Artusi continues to serve modern Italian fare that is phenomenally delicious.
The pastas are homemade and impeccably delicious. The apps and small plates were creative and made with fresh ingredients. Loved the Tuscan kale salad and the crostone. The chicken was my favorite main.
Service was a little slow, but it was very crowded on a Saturday night. The ambiance is next level. Definitely worth going if you can get yourself a reservation!
And it’s EXCELLENT to bring a date you really like!
