I stopped in for a quick bite when I arrived in NY and I loved it! Aside from the food being immaculate, my waiter/bartender was very friendly and made sure I had a good experience. I tried their lamb lollipops and their lobster Mac and cheese, it was so good. I also had a few glasses of Prosecco, which were smooth. I have already notified my husband that we will visit this restaurant again when we return to NY this year. I cannot wait!
Sat at the bar and had Filet Mignon and garlic mashed potatoes and a couple of beers. Filet was perfection. Medium Rare and Charred as I requested. Mashed potatoes were delicious too. Real potatoes and not the slimy paste many restaurants serve. Bartender was delightful and attentive (wish I could remember her name) maybe Aimee? Uncle Jacks is a charming space with excellent food, professional service at excellent prices.
Highly recommend.
We came from Texas to visit Manhattan for my son’s 16th birthday, we had his birthday dinner at Uncle Jacks, The food was amazing the staff was kind and courteous and very attentive, We were absolutely amazed by the candied bacon with peanut butter! Hands down Best Steak house I’ve been to!
Big fan of Harris'. Great old school steakhouse serving great steaks. What gets me about the place is why they bother to run such a diluted menu by serving anything other than dry aged prime beef - it's a bit like trying to navigate a minefield going down the menu. Otherwise, all thumbs.
