“Usually, everything’s fine at this store, but I had an experience there recently that made me quite angry. I walked to the store to buy groceries and snacks. It’s about 4 blocks away. I don’t drive. I waited about 10 minutes for the cashier to deal with a delivery person. That person then started to engage in small talk with the cashier and then also decided to order a slice of pizza. The cashier had trouble getting the slice out of the warmer. By the time he got it out, I’d been standing with a heavy basket for 15 minutes, while the other 3 or 4 staff people stood around having personal conversations. The cashier then told the delivery guy that he had no bags. I asked him if he indeed said they had no bags. He said “yes, we ran out”. It was about 1:00 in the afternoon and they had no bags! I asked if they didn’t have either plastic or paper bags as I had walked 4 blocks to get there and now need to walk those 4 blocks back. He spent another 5 minutes looking for paper bags, to no avail. At 1:00 on a Saturday afternoon, this Byrne Dairy had NO BAGS!!! I walked 8 blocks for nothing. I was angry enough to write this critical review. And I almost never write reviews!”

“Have had almost everything off the menu! I love it all. Everything is fresh and delicious. One of my favorite bowls is the Southwest Grilled Chicken & Purple Rice Blend. I also enjoy the BBQ Ranch Chicken Warm Rice Bowl. For a choose 2 meal I like the Spicy Thai Chicken and Rice Noodle bowl with the Coconut Curry Chicken Soup. The sides are also all amazing! I moved to Marcellus NY recently and was extremely excited to find out they were opening the new location! Love Mary, she is great and I got my hug immediately LOL. “Absolutely incredible. Spent the past 7 years in Miami, I didn’t believe it when they said there was a Cuban place opening up in Syracuse, so I had to check it out. It is the REAL DEAL. I tried the braised oxtail and some croquetas, and it was all authentic and delicious. I promised the owner I will be back to try a Cuban sandwich, which he assured me is on real Cuban bread (an absolute delicacy) and I intend to do so soon. If you enjoy hearty, delicious food, please give this place a try. It is amazing!”
