“We had a really great dinner at the Cove! We were unsure of this place because it is in a hotel, but it was an amazing place to eat a quick, but romantic dinner! The restaurant is new and decor is awesome, but the views are the best part. You look right onto the lake with mountains in the background. The food and drinks were very good and unique. The even had non alcoholic wines and mocktails. I would go back just for drinks at the bar. They had a vegan entree that was very good (not boring) but the stars were the calamari (best we've ever had!) and the fresh pasta. You should go here!”

I’ll steal the quote from another couple that was there “you feel like your on vacation, but it’s in our hometown!” Our bartender Dee was outstanding, she was honest with us from the beginning and said the pizza was going to take long, but we came to enjoy the beautiful evening and our surrounding so it wasn’t even a concern. Extra bonus it was well worth the wait! Amazing!!! Sitting back and watching how the bartenders all worked together and treated one another with respect proves how committed they are to great service. Plus an extra shout out to Alan, what a great man he made you feel welcomed and you could see he was happy to be there. Thank you to COHOs for finally giving the community a place to enjoy our beautiful lake and to create endless memories. So excited to go back and show it off to family and friends!”

“Great meal, family atmosphere and friendly staff! The food was hot and tasty. They had a full house, but had enough friendly staff to keep tables turning over for new patrons with minimal wait time at the peak dinner hours. With young children, having a family atmosphere was key for us too. Kudos to the staff and owners. We will be back and look forward to trying other meals! We got the Smokehouse Pulled Pork Burger, White Flatbread Pizzas, Caesar salad and kids menu Cheeseburger that comes with fries and applesauce!!!”

“My first visit to Star. Cider . the tasting room is nicely decorated and there is ample parking outside. I asked for some suggestions based on my taste in cider and the server gave me a few samples she was super helpful and pleasant we enjoyed two different ciders each and ordered some quick bites from their menu. As it was kind of chilly we didn't venture outside to their patio but looks like there's nice sitting outside and we were told you can also rent a fire pit . plan to come back again”

“My son and I stopped there today for a late lunch. We are not from that area but we’re there for a few days. This place is amazing. The service, the food, the atmosphere all were five star rating. We had a minke bread appetizer, chicken salad sandwich. Chicken French and every one of these were the best we ever ate and my son is extremely fussy. Best food we had in the four days in the area. Kudos to the chef. We will definitely be back. And we will tell everyone.”

Plus, it is at Kershaw Park, 155 Lakeshore Drive on the left side of the bathhouse building. They offer food (hot dogs, burgers, sausage & soft drinks, plus Hershey's ice cream too.”

“This was our first visit to see the beautiful Canandaigua Lake. After stopping at the Lake shore, we decided we'll pick up a sandwich somewhere for lunch when we stumbled upon Laguna Grande. This restaurant exceeds a 5-star rating! Our server, Collin Murphy was extremely friendly and courteous and was willing to go any length to make us feel satisfied. Our food was created with passion for sure by the Chef, as it appeared fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. Best Mexican food we've had since living in the Bay Area of California. Definitely will be back. Great prices, large portions and great quality food. A must to try if you haven't done so.”

“Best BBQ in Rochester! This is exactly what this area needed! Best BBQ around! We've been here 3 times since they opened just a few weeks ago and it's been amazing every single time! The pulled pork and brisket are our favorites! My husband is super picky & has never found a brisket in this area that he actually likes and decided to try it & was blown away at how good it was! The homemade sides are delicious! We've tried the Mac & Cheese, Collard Greens, Beans, Potato Salad, Coleslaw and the Spicy Slaw and everything has been fresh & delicious! The corn bread is also amazing! We highly recommend this to anyone in the area who loves BBQ! Prices are also very reasonable for portion size! This is definitely going to be a regular stop for our family!”
