“This place is amazing! We visited for the first time on Maple Fest Weekend. It was quiet around 1pm which was perfect. My family and I were able to enjoy the scenery and the atmosphere without the busy crowd. Plenty of food options, seating in the barn, and tastings of syrup, beer, and cocktail options. The farm is gorgeous, staff were friendly. The only reason I take a star off is that I volunteer for local organizations and have sent donation requests to this farm and never receive a response (such as bottles of syrup to a raffle basket). I do understand that the owners are probably inundated with requests. A lack of response is a reputation risk. I would suggest an online donation form or something similar so that even an automated ‘sorry’ or declination is acknowledged.”

“I was on a job that had me driving by this little place in the middle of nowhere. Decided to stop in for lunch since they have a back driveway you can park a truck in. I'm glad I stopped, my tuna sub was made to order and so yummy! The staff is friendly and the prices are less than I expected. This is a great little store with a little of everything and well worth stopping at. Next time I'm driving by I'll be sure to stop in!”

“Boa buns were a table favorite. If you like spicy go for the fried chicken option, but the pork belly was just as delicious. The real star was the bun itself - it was perfection. From Calamari to clams casino (the real deal) and seafood polenta, our table was delighted by all of the seafood dishes we tried. My personal favorite was the Chicken Paprikash. Service was prompt and thoughtful, suggesting wines from the list based on preference which were on point with what we were after. We had an excellent meal and would recommend this new place to anyone interested in taking a culinary journey through this New American Cuisine menu.”

“Big aLICe Brewing in conveniently located just outside of Geneva at the top of a small hill. Very popular and understandably so. It has a "fun factor" to it. They had live music and food vendors outside the day we were there. Patio and indoor seating available. They even had a TV that we could catch the Bill's game on. “Was looking for a mid-late breakfast when passing through Geneva on business, so I parked the Jeep in a parking lot and went onto google to find something to bite on. A few steps away was “Captains Cafe.” Waking in was underwhelming in appearance, but it was clean. Right when I walked in, I was promptly greeted and shown a few tables that were available. Coffee was offered first, which was unimpressive but not uncommon so not an issue. Was given enough time to look over the menu until I made my choice, and then I patiently waited. Food arrives, and I’m immediately impressed by its presentation… the edible flower made me happy inside! The dish was awesome, though I will say the hash brown was rather plain. Either way, I’d recommend this establishment; I’ll be back again at some point to hopefully be impressed again.”

I’ll steal the quote from another couple that was there “you feel like your on vacation, but it’s in our hometown!” Our bartender Dee was outstanding, she was honest with us from the beginning and said the pizza was going to take long, but we came to enjoy the beautiful evening and our surrounding so it wasn’t even a concern. Extra bonus it was well worth the wait! Amazing!!! Sitting back and watching how the bartenders all worked together and treated one another with respect proves how committed they are to great service. They had a full house, but had enough friendly staff to keep tables turning over for new patrons with minimal wait time at the peak dinner hours. “We had a great time from drinks to dessert! Everything was top notch! There were four of us and we ordered 3 appetizers, 4 different entrees and one to go then topped it off with two amazing desserts! We even ordered two pizzas to go because we ordered too much to try it there. The pizza was amazing too!! I wish I had taken photos while we were there but these are the pizzas and my amazing salmon dish (special crated by Ryan) when we got home!! So nice to see Ryan in the kitchen he goes above and beyond! So did the rest of the staff!! Cannot wait to go back!”
