“I did not want to write this review, because of this restaurant being a new location I was really trying to remain understanding. However, the hour wait in the drive thru alone was extremely frustrating. The only reason i am giving this restaurant three stars is because the individual operating the drive thru window was very friendly given the situation. I’d be willing to try this location again in the future after it has been in operation a couple months.”

“My husband and I just went to their Saturday prime rib and seafood buffet and it was excellent! Our waitress, Adrian, was lovely and the food was spectacular! The Shrimp Newburg was especially delicious and the prime rib melted in your mouth. We had a window seat and it couldn't have been nicer. Plus, the history behind this house is so interesting. We can't wait to go back!”

“My first visit to Star. Cider . the tasting room is nicely decorated and there is ample parking outside. I asked for some suggestions based on my taste in cider and the server gave me a few samples she was super helpful and pleasant we enjoyed two different ciders each and ordered some quick bites from their menu. As it was kind of chilly we didn't venture outside to their patio but looks like there's nice sitting outside and we were told you can also rent a fire pit . plan to come back again”

“My son and I stopped there today for a late lunch. We are not from that area but we’re there for a few days. This place is amazing. The service, the food, the atmosphere all were five star rating. We had a minke bread appetizer, chicken salad sandwich. Chicken French and every one of these were the best we ever ate and my son is extremely fussy. Best food we had in the four days in the area. Kudos to the chef. We will definitely be back. And we will tell everyone.”

Not only is the food incredible but the staff were all extremely friendly and made sure that everything met or exceeded my expectations. Had to ask the owner for water and tarter sauce for fish fry...which was eventually brought to us by 2 separate people...none of which was our waitress. “Had the pleasure of eating here last night and it was one of the most incredible dining experiences I've ever had. Every detail of the meal was meticulously planned with great care by Chef Dan. “This is the least expensive rental for $15 for the first hour & only $8 for additional hours for kayak or paddleboard rentals! All other places charge $24-26 per hour. Plus, it is at Kershaw Park, 155 Lakeshore Drive on the left side of the bathhouse building. They offer food (hot dogs, burgers, sausage & soft drinks, plus Hershey's ice cream too.”
