“I know Top very well. It’s sad to me that the person who gave the poor review didn’t try to talk to him before writing something that could hurt a new small business. He would have given her a new hot dog cooked to her liking. I personally think the hotdogs are perfect the way they are with great topping too! The building itself looks great! A HUGE improvement on what was there before. Top really put a lot of care and thought into every part of the business.”

“Karen's Cafe is an amazing spot! You won't be disappointed. I went with my family and we fell in love with the place. All of our food was delicious. It tasted like home cooked, feel good, comfort food! Karen made us feel so welcomed and comfortable in her cafe. This will be a tradition of ours to stop in and eat for years to come! So happy we found her cafe we wish the business the best of luck and success!”

“This location is new in Middletown and I have to say what a really nice place. When you walk in majority of the ladies greet you with a WELCOME and this was very inviting. The ladies was very helpful about what I should try out considering this was my first time coming here and I have to say my roast beef & provolone sandwich was good I know next time when I go to add vinegar for my sandwich 🥪 😋 but it was wrapped nice. I will come back here and I hope this establishment stays the same with there hospitality and don't change because our world needs that friendly face when you arrive into a place.”

“Visit #1 This is a fun new addition to Middletown! Great cocktails and really fresh and flavorful food. The margarita was a little weak/flavorless, but the Pina coladas were really good and the shrimp and crab in the reel’s catch were fresh and flavorful (and a massive portion!). Our server Amber couldn’t have been more attentive and welcome, she’s great! Visit #2 Oooof. Night and day from our first visit. If this was the first time we came, we’d never come back. We got the happy hour shrimp basket and calamari, both were so over fried. The calamari was pure rubber bands and the shrimp was nothing like the fresh, flavorful shrimp from visit one. We also split the seafood pasta and were really disappointed. It came out with the sauce congealed like it had been sitting out for a long time before being brought to the table. The “marinara” tasted to be at least 2/3 ketchup. The shrimp was tough and the mussels were pretty fishy and gross. The first time we came was a Friday and this recent visit was a Wednesday, wondering if they have the A Team on for weekends? Will try one more time and will have two new rules in mind- don’t order anything fried and only get the boils. This was super disappointing.”

“I don’t usually go out of my way to leave reviews, but this little restaurant/pub blew it out of the water for us. Was looking for a new place to bring my parents who’ve lived here for 35+ years, but my mom is a new amputee. I called last minute to ask if they could accommodate. The owner who quickly introduced herself as Josie, said come on down, we’ll figure it out. My mom is a little shy since this is new and I didn’t want to make a big deal of it. We got there and a suitcase ramp is already in the door, waiting for us! I can’t tell you how relieved I was. Mom smiled from beginning to end. The bartender/waitress was friendly, attentive, and cheery. The 4 of us all ended up with burgers and my dad (the hardest to please), thought it was absolutely delicious. $10 bucks for a delicious, SIZABLE cheddar burger with the works, and fries. Can’t beat that! Mom had one of their signature cocktails (a Peanut Butter White Russian I believe) and commented how good it was and good thing she didn’t have to drive! 😜 Small town feel with high class service. Thank you, Longstreet Tavern. We found our new spot!”

“I just had lunch here and I do have lunch here from time to time. I love their Asiago bagel for my sandwiches. The food has always been delicious. I really like that they also give you a small side with your sandwich. I had the macaroni salad with my lunch today and it was tasty. I would definitely recommend trying this place out for yourself. You will not be disappointed.”

“I really like their pizza but not all of it is wood fired cooked. They have a regular oven too. One of the new hires isn't very customer friendly. He spoke about us to the manager in Spanish (we don't know Spanish) but he used a few English words so we knew he was speaking about us. He said lies and over charged us.”

“Ordered a french toast bagel with plain cream cheese. It was good - nothing special but good! Bagel was pretty soft, flavorful but could have used a little more spread. It wasn't too crowded and the service was quick. Would stop by again on the way in to work.”

“We had an egg and cheese with corned beef hash on a roll. The roll was so wonderful I can't even tell you. It comes with two eggs. The eggs are cooked over hard so if you like them runny, just let them know! The cashier who took our order was very friendly and she made our quick interaction very pleasant.”

“This is hands down the best kosher food experience I have ever had. The farm is beautiful! You feel like your in the Tuscan hills! I would recommend going around sunset time because it is so beautiful! And the food is insane! I love loved the lamb chops, rib eye steak and the waygu burger! Also because of the fields it’s extremely kid friendly!”

“My husband and I had our wedding here. It was magnificently done. The owners are lovely people who do an extraordinary job, the staff is amazing. Since our wedding we have returned several times for dinner. The food and service can not be beat. It seems to get better every time we go. It is our favorite destination for an exquisite meal.”

“Best ramen I have ever had. Drinks were incredible and the chef spent years living in Japan. He knows what he’s doing and the food reflects that. New favorite spot.”

“This place has been here for many years. Wanted to see if the cheese Steak was st²ill as tasty as I remembered. Absolutely it was delicious just as I remembered over a decade ago. When I use to get it, think it was like 7 dollars, now it's almost 15. I get that it probably cost them 5 dollars or more to make the same profit. That's the price at most quality cheese steak places. If your gonna spend that much on a sandwich, it better be good. It was very good 👍 I won't give them a bad review for making a profit. Great service too!”

“I highly recommend this Cidery. The cider is wonderful, the cocktails are delicious, the space is beautiful, and everyone inside is very welcoming and knowledge. We did the cider tasting- so tasty, it is a true testament to the taste of the NY apple. Not too sweet, very refreshing, and lots of flavor. They have some champagne style ciders which i also loved, great option for those who like a little more funk and flavor. I also tried the gin and tonic cocktail (pictured) which utilizes HOUSE MADE tonic in addition to cider and is probably the best g&t I’ve ever had. They allowed our dog indoors- though i don’t know if this is standard or if it was a kind gesture due to the fact that we were the only customers at opening time (12 pm) on a Friday. Either way, they are pet friendly and have a patio to accommodate. They also have food if you’re hungry. Highly recommend this place!”

“Very friendly staff. We enjoyed appetizer, entrees and desserts. Have to dock a star for not serving bread. Italian restaurants must have good bread on the table ...you should not have to ask for it! Other than that - very enjoyable!”

“What a great experience as soon as you step into this amazing shop! It’s so welcoming and you feel like you are part of the family! Vicki can create the most heartfelt products and put so much effort, love and passion to her work. I had the opportunity reconnect with her through a customized order , and since then I kept ordering more because of her wonderful talent! Everything she does is magical and is a piece of art that can touch lives in so many ways. I strongly recommend her if you are looking for the perfect gift for any occasion!”

“Absolutely delicious! So nice to have a place in Middletown with fresh and tasty breakfast/brunch options. Can’t wait to go back! Avocado toast and vegetable Benedict were both wonderful! I would come back just for the fruit & honey!”

“A nice lil bagel shop in middle town. Theres a large assortment of bagels to choose from plain, blueberry, French toast, asiago, etc... the french toast bin was empty so it must be good, I will have to try it out next time. This time I got a plain with cream cheese. It was good, bagel was nice & large, good slab of cream cheese on it. I would come back for sure.”

“The staff are super friendly and the store is very inviting. I tried the chicken over rice and it’s definitely not going to be my favorite spot to get it from but it was decent. If I can make a suggestion to them, they need a bit more flavor that some other places have. I consider myself a chicken and rice connoisseur 😂. Next time I’ll have to ask for the lettuce and tomato to be put on the side since I do not like it mixed in with the chicken and rice. They have a lot of items on their menu including breakfast. They are right next to crown fried so it will definitely be some competition for both. This place however has a kids sandwich menu and chopped cheese, which I think I will try next time. They also have a lot of other specialty sandwiches on their menu and other fresh deli items. They also have a rewards program! I will definitely be back to try more of their food.”

“I got a salt bagel with egg & bacon, which was delicious. However, I bought some other bagels to bring home, and when we tried the bagels, they just looked or tasted older, even though i saw them just made. I'd give them a 6.5 out of 10.”
