“If I could give it 10 stars I would. I stopped by with my family this weekend to have dinner. Not only was the service great, the restaurant is super cute with its beautifully hand painted chairs and tables but the food is beyond amazing! On the weekends they have tamales so we ordered several of the rojos y verdes and they were I'm going to go out there and say the BEST tamales in Newburgh. They were moist, masa to meat ratio was perfect and the flavor was beyond! Also tried the vegetarian sopes which melted in my mouth with a side of grilled chicken, sauteed onions on a bed of nopales (cactus). Took an Horchata to go because my heart was happy and full with such good food! I came back the next day for Brunch and had a small Chicken Torta Milanesa with some carnitas tacos. If I didn't live in Brooklyn I'd literally eat here everyday! I can't wait to return and try more food because everything was great.”

“We had a good lunch here. I was pleasantly surprised. The outside isn't much and the inside doesn't get better. I was expecting your standard Mexican faire served at all Mexican restaurants. The menu isn't as vast as some and actually has a few menu items that you don't see on usual menus. I asked our server which was better Chile Colorado or Chili Verde (I like them both) and he said to definitely get the Verde so I did and it was delicious a definite standout amongst the Chili Verde I've had elsewhere. With it came homemade tortillas. My husband had the chilaquiles something we don't see on menus back home, turns out it's sort of like a deconstructed enchilada. You had the choice between red or green sauce and our server recommended the red. My husband enjoyed this dish. I appreciated our server and his ability to give recommendations. It seems like so many places the staff just tells you it's all good, but this guy he actually had an opinion.”

Was there back in May of last year 2018 will plan on going there again once I return to NY for a visit again this year ..if you drive by it pull in and give it a try you will be glad you did !!”
