Taco Tumba

Address: 30-10 Steinway St, Queens, NY 11103, USA

Restaurant

“Such a cool spot to celebrate events. Loved the vibe, the music in my opinion was better than that of some clubs I’ve been to so kudos to whoever is managing the music here. The food was great except for the tacos being a bit cold, and the pork chop not being as juicy, it was kinda dry. Nonetheless over all enjoyed all of it, especially our appetizers. Unlimited home made tortilla chips- warm and toasty and want to keep eating it😋The corn with the cheese stuff was delishhh. Our server Jessie was amazing. Was very cheerful and accommodating. Appreciate it Jessie :) The drinks were so-so. Some of it were either too sweet or too spicy. Another thing I want to tell the owner is I feel kinda cheated on the tequila shots. Each shot was like $13 or $14. It’s served in a bigger than normal shot glass and we were all so impressed with how generous the serving was. But, let me emphasize a huge BUT, the shot was only 1/3rd of the glass ;( the disappointment we felt esp after seeing the price was a punch to the face. It’s be nice if you either decreased the price or at least doubled the amount. Anyways, the employees were all very helpful and accommodating. Appreciate it :) thank you for your hospitality!”

MMM That's A Wrap

Address: 38-1 30th Ave., Queens, NY 11103, USA

Andrew Bellucci's Pizzeria

Address: 37-08 30th Ave., Queens, NY 11103, USA

Restaurant

“Great pizza! The owner is very nice!! We always go with the classic since we are classic pie kind of pizza lovers. The pizza has a brick oven vibe to it. Once we got a pizza and the pizza ended up with a breakage in the middle where the dough may have been stretched thin and they gave us a whole second pie for free. Andrew is always on deck with quality control watching each order go out and he’s always being so nice to the customers. Great flavor and really good cheese and sauce. It’s hard to find a place like this in Astoria without it being generic football pizza.”

Gossip Coffee

Address: 3704 30th Ave., Queens, NY 11103, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“A bit overpriced for my pockets and the food takes longer than I’m comfortable with however, the cookies are amazing - especially the red velvet (there’s a cream cheese center). I also ordered the crème brûlée French toast and couldn’t finish it because it was soooooo overwhelmingly sweet. If you have a sweet tooth this is a spot for you.”

Burrito Blvd

Address: 3620 30th Ave., Queens, NY 11106, USA

Restaurant

“Much higher quality version of chipotle. I really loved this place. I got the steak and was a little worried initially that it might be tough like all places since it’s a budget friendly meal. I was thrown off though completely. Steak was extremely tender and very tasty! Guac, rice, pinto beans also all really good! Congrats on the opening and wish you guys all the best!”

Krave It Pizza & Sandwich Joint

Address: 36-18 30th Ave., Queens, NY 11103, USA

Restaurant

“The specialty slice was good. Everything else was average. This place is not for fries/wings. The fries took FOREVER and were soggy and with EXCESSIVE melty but not stretchy cheese. Just not good & very heavy. The fries were definitely oily. The wings were not hot when they finally came out. The younger girl taking my order was not welcoming at all, seemed annoyed the whole time, she just had a nasty vibe to her, which made the experience worse. There was one nice Asian woman who greeted us but she didn’t get to take our order. Overall, I would only go back for pizza.”

Mad For Chicken Astoria

Address: 36-10 30th Ave., Queens, NY 11103, USA

Restaurant

“My first time here but the teriyaki bowl list legit, a little hot, but I like that. Nice place and the other food I've seen looks good. And they have Heineken, and that makes me happy. Revised. Met the owner. Cool guy. This place is great. Great to watch a game. Or just hang. Check it out.”

Leli's Bakery & Pastry Shop

Address: 3514 30th Ave., Queens, NY 11103, USA

Bakery Restaurant

“Great pastries and pies! I highly recommend this bakery. They have a variety of savory and sweet pastries, and both kinds are very good. The sweet ones are not overly sweet, which I really like. They're sweet in a balanced way so I can actually taste all the flavors, not just sugar. So far I've tried about dozen different things, and it's my goal to try all of them eventually.”

“This was the first time I’ve tried this place, and I can just say Wow. The food was SO delicious and flavorful! I got the Spicy Cumin lamb and hand ripped noodles and Spicy sour pork and cabbage dumplings. I also tasted my friends cucumber salad and I would order that as well next time. The portions were large and I had plenty of leftovers for my next meal, and the containers were perfect to take on the go. I’ll definately be coming back for more!”

Da Long Yi Hot Pot

The braised pork broth combined with herbs has multiple layers of flavor. Don't forget to try Da Long Yi secret sauce when you pick your dipping sauce!”

Dun Huang

Address: 27-23 Jackson Ave, Queens, NY 11101, USA

Restaurant

“We tried this place on a Friday afternoon for lunch during their soft opening. Walked in to a moderately busy restaurant with plenty of seating. Interiors are minimalistic but fresh, and high ceilings makes the place look very industrial. Attentive set of staff came to our table right as we were seated, and we ordered a hot appetizer Silky Wide Glass Noodle ($8.50) and Fresh Hand Pulled Noodles - Spicy Oil Spill Noodle ($13.99). We were warned that the Silky Wide Glass Noodle will be spicy - but we could easily handle the spice. Food overall was absolutely brilliant - one of the best Chinese I've had in the US! Noodles were absolutely fresh - slightly on the chewier side which I like. The Spicy Oil Spill Noodle was delicious and had a very distinct taste to it (a good one!). Bok Choy was cooked to perfection, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I hope they keep up their quality and service, both of which were absolutely wonderful during our visit. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have a very flavorful Chinese meal!”

Mito

Address: 27-31 Jackson Ave, Queens, NY 11101, USA

Restaurant

“Beautiful designed restaurant in Long Island City. Went for dinner. For starters we got the Watercress & Avocado Salad organic watercress, avocado, cucumber & mango sweet wasabi vinaigrette which was very tasty and fresh. We didn’t like at all the Calamari- light fried, Sweet Thai chili w. mango & sesame seeds- it was chewy like a gum in the most negative way. For main- I Loved the Roasted Blackened Organic Chicken dusted w. lime cilantro seasoning, Truffle mushroom cream sauce. My friend got the Honey Soy Teriyaki grilled chicken and said it was great. It took forever for the main to come and the waiter apologized for it couple of times while we just set there. Since it’s a new place we will definitely give them the chance to improve”

Hot Chicken Takeover

Address: 28-17 Jackson Ave, Queens, NY 11101, USA

Restaurant

“I spent a year in Columbus Ohio and became addicted to Hot Chicken Takeover. I was thrilled that they opened a location in Queens but it just wasn’t the same. Where are the beans and mac? The chicken was good. I hope they continue to expand their menu and locations in NYC.”

Rosario's

Address: 22-55 31st St, Queens, NY 11105, USA

Restaurant

“This pizza is as good as it gets. Super thin crisp crust, fresh tomato sauce and fresh in house made mozzarella cheese. You won't be disappointed.”

Lagano

Address: 36-03 Ditmars Blvd, Queens, NY 11105, USA

Restaurant

“Pictures don't do this justice! The decor is so incredibly breathtaking that you have to see it in person. The vibe is also very chill and laid-back. I loved the music. Food was excellent and portions were bigger than I expected. I had two tapas and two mains which were more than enough. For dessert I had to try the Boam cake that was phenomenal which was exactly what was described by our server Valentina. Everything was delicious! I will definitely be coming here again, not only the service was amazing and very welcoming!, food overall was beautiful and tasty!! Great vibes! This is a lovely place for a night out.”
