“With regards to my review below, Gene's Fish Fry apologized for the inconvenience for the poor service and have us a $20 gift certificate for our next visit which was today. This time everything was great. Thank you to the management for their service regarding this. After waiting all winter for Gene's to open I was EXTREMELY disappointed. On 5/30/2019, I purchased 3 Fish Fry plates with onion rings plus an extra piece of fish to go. The meals were going to different homes, so Instead of 3 different plates, two of the dinners were stuffed on one plate leaving the buns extremely soggy. The extra piece of fish wasn't even half of a piece of fish and didn't fill the bun. Additionally the onion rings were not a nice golden brown but burnt to just this side of not being able to eat them. Not sure I want to go back if this is the type of service to be expected.”

“We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. The boyfriend got the stewed chicken and potatoes lunch special. I got the roasted pork lunch special. OMG the pork was delicious - tender and flavorful. I loved the homemade hot sauce mixed with the rice and pork and beans. The chicken stew with potatoes was equally yummy. We also tried two of the fresh juices and smoothies. I got the pineapple power - super refreshing. The boyfriend got the green mountain (spinach, kale, banana, apple, and mango) - so delicious but incredibly healthy. You will not be disappointed by stopping by. They were also super friendly and helpful!”
