“I like another commenter here do love the new store. Employees and of course the ice cream is the best in my opinion but every time I go there which is almost every day, one particular time last week it was twice in a day, I get panhandled too. Every time! I honestly don’t mind giving out some money here and there and I know they may or may not be scamming me but this is getting ridiculous. Yesterday I was annoyed by it and the person got huffy with me. Dude, you’re asking me for money, have some humility. I work hard for a living and now I feel like I’m being harassed when I go there. Not just this Stewart’s, I went to Market 32 today right after Stewart’s and someone at 32 asked for money as well. Sigh. What is going on in Sch”dy? I’ve lived here most of my 52 years and it’s sad to see so many in need and yes I don’t particularly like wondering every time I go shopping am I going to be approached. I don’t know if there’s anything Stewart’s can do like perhaps a security guard? Which I realize may put people off, if that’s even an option but if this keeps happening I won’t be going there anymore. It should be a pleasant experience to go there not uncomfortable.”

“Location is decent. Al Pastor Tacos. Food quality is higher than average. True authentic Mexican food for those who understand and want the difference. Communication is decent. Shop is fairly clean. Best Mexican Authentic food within 20 mile radius. Price is nearly equal to value, although at times pricier than value, depending on how you order. Lacks take-home menus or more options for seeing menus either in-house or online. I have eaten from many authentic Mexican restaurants in the south. This is as close to the real thing as one can get. Nobody is perfect , but it how they handle a problem that sets them apart. , They always make right. To all the one star complainers, go eat someplace else. Stop your complaining and go up to Saratoga and see if new York state gives a heap about your food. This is the best run casino and facility I have ever been to. Clean and smiling faces everywhere. So go back to Vegas or Saratoga. Bathrooms up there are trash. I LOVE RIVERS. Keep up great job!!!!”

Scott, the Manager went out of his way to bring us drinks on the house due to the proposed wait time and then proceeded to facilitate a table for the crew as quickly as possible! “Best Japanese in the area. It is authentic and was originally owned and run by Japanese family. I believe a longtime worker they trained well now runs it with great pride. Its a little pricey and the area is a bit shady. I wish they were on a main street like Union Street or Central Avenue and that they had more customers so they wouldn't have to have so high prices. I normally can't eat raw fish sushi pieces, especially from these Chinese/Korean owned and run Japanese restaurants all over the capital district. But Mari's sushi is so fresh, melt in your mouth and no fishy taste. Not sure about their ramen if its authentic, that's new on the menu, after the original Japanese owner Mari sold the place. Anyways solid food and service but a bit pricey. I wish I got to try their match tiramisu, oh well,maybe on my birthday.”

We had beet salad, meatball app that had great combination of non traditional flavors, monkfish and halibut. All carefully prepared and enjoyable.
