“Food is great. Love the decor and atmosphere during the day and early evening. Went on a Saturday. Table of 5. Waited 1 1/2 hours to be seated. I’ve worked in the service industry for 12 years. Their turn over time is very poor. Dirty tables sat for too long. Additionally multiple groups who arrived after us, sat before us. When we inquired, they said they can only sit parties of 5 in bar area and the others had reservations. I understand that however when we got sat, the booths on the neighboring side were all parties of 5 who had arrived after us. I enjoy place but that was a huge turnoff.”

“Senior taco is a bit on the pricy side...but literally everything you get there is huge and absolutely delicious. They're always generous with how much they fill your tacos and burritos and I think they have the best burritos. I haven't tried there alcoholic beverages, but I've heard they're good as well. Definitely a place you should check out”

“I book the banquet room for my daughter's wedding reception. Even with 150 people the room was well layout, spacious, and clean. The staff where friendly, very accommodating, and made everyone feel welcome. The food was delicious and the portions generous. The dance floor to was spacious . And even with a open bar no one had problems getting there drinks. Thank you Holbrook Country Club for making our special day grand, and wonderful.”

“Had the scallop, rice and corn salad special. It certainly was. The corn salad was excellent. The rice was a bit over cooked . The scallops were mostly cooked well. Some were over cooked and sandy but , you know seafood. There was an abundance of them however, 8. Then had riverboat pie for dessert. Coffee ice cream with chocolate crust. It was fine. Nothing to rave about one way or the other. The hostess Emily , was nice and personable. The wife had steak taco, which she thought was excellent. It was a little on the spicy side though. Also had a caramel martini which she liked. The service was good.”

“Restaurant is well known locally in the town of sayville. They offer an extensive dinner menu with some excellent appetizers and some delicious entrees. Their focus is mainly on seafood but they have other or offerings as well. I personally love the calamari and balsamic vinaigrette with jalapenos for an appetizer and the tuna for dinner. The live music is a nice touch, but I feel bad the dining room is small and sometimes happy hour crowd drowns out the solo performer. The food is satisfactory overall. The salads are good. The steak sandwich is great. The Buffalo wings are tiny. The burgers are tasty. I'm not a fan of coated fries. I'm too cheap to pay the up charge for mediocre sweet potato fries or onion rings. So, to not waste the food. I order without but get charged full price. ????”
