“Would not recommend for vegetarians. This place was great though for my friends that eat meat. They really enjoyed their food, especially the ribs. I also loved how the restaurant used paper straws and locally sourced hand soap in the bathroom. But for a restaurant that is already taking steps towards sustainability, I was surprised they did not have hot vegetarian or vegan options, like a veggie burger or Portobello burger. They had salad, but I was looking forward to a hot meal. And I understand this is not a vegetarian restaurant, but I was just surprised. I was told by the wait staff I could order sides so I ended up ordering 3 sides for 16 dollars: Spanish rice, mushrooms, and broccoli. The kitchen put it on a plate for me and it was fine but it wasn't the same because it wasn't necessarily curated by a chef to go together. It all tasted fine but the meat eaters definitely enjoyed their food more. Staff was nice and even though it was busy I felt like they had enough staff for the number of tables because I don't think it was a long time for food to come out at all. If my friends wanted to go there again, I would probably eat before I went and just have drink. But if you eat meat or seafood you should try it because my friends really enjoyed their food.”

“A real delight at the waters edges just across from the US Coast Guard Station, on Lighthouse Road. The Inn Spot on the Bay is a quaint inn not to be missed. The dining room inside is a sunny yellow with original detailed moldings painted white. The windows offer a view of the bay as well as an outdoor dining area and lawn where outdoor weddings can take place. There are guest rooms in the main house and on the property. There is a small bar too. The menu is upscale in taste and presentation. They do a series of International themed dinners into mid-May as well as a Sunday Brunch. Check their website for which State or Country they are celebrating on the weekend. Their regular menu has favorites like Lobster Bisque, Seafood Pot Pie, Long Island Duck and much more including a homemade crisp they serve at every table. As spring turns to summer, this lull is a great time to visit as the crowds are smaller and the sunsets a bit later so one can enjoy the changing skies and sunsets.”

“they use Perdue chicken ! the wanton/egg drop soup is absolutely fantastic and perfect, my new favorite ! the quart of wonton/egg drop soup is #1. you are getting a generous serving of about 4-5 delicious steamed dumplings cooked "al dente". these steamed dumplings are generously loaded with meat and not the common vegetable "fillers" like other places do. the chicken broth is hearty, thick and very flavorful with a heaping amount of whipped eggs added to it. unlike other places that seem to use perhaps one egg per quart, Kong Chen appears to use perhaps 2-3 eggs per quart and this makes it absolutely delicious. their chicken broth actually taste like hearty chicken stock unlike other places where the broth has minimal taste to it and is mostly water. so in conclusion, this is like having a hearty thick chicken soup with whipped delicious eggs added to it and meaty "al dente" steamed dumplings. you tastes chicken, eggs and meaty "al dente" dumplings, its like 3 meals in one, pretty awesome i say !”

“This spot used to be Orlando's Cafe for many years and now under new owners and new name! Slowly but surely they are revamping the space and giving the store a much needed face lift with new counters, a fresh coat of paint and such. Diego, who I think is the manager there, said while they will keep most of the popular breakfast items that Orlando's offered, like Beso sandwiches and Pinto Gallo, they will be overhauling the lunch and dinner menus and do away with some of the dishes that either didn't make sense or weren't as popular, but the tacos will stay! They will also be slowly bringing in more Peruvian dishes to the menu as well in the next few months. Happy to see that the space remains an eatery and look forward to coming back to trying the new menu items while still enjoying the signature Orlando's breakfast items still being offered.”

“Absolutely Incredible. I don't know where to begin, the food, atmosphere, presentation of the food... There's so much this restaurant has right, I don't think we could finish a glass of water before a waiter had already refilled it. What I'm most overjoyed about is the vegan/veg food. Usually a restaurant will have some veg food, but obviously won't put effort in... This place does, I don't know where else I can get soy based foods as well made as here. It's absolutely incredible.”

“This is a well established, charming restaurant with a delicious menu and dining rooms. They have a warm and inviting decor and a good sized bar. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and started with fresh Mozzarella and Clams Casino. Sweet and delicious. For dinner, I enjoyed their Duck with Cherries. Crispy skin, a rich side sauce, and creamy rice made this a superb choice. My husband enjoyed a grilled 24 oz — Porterhouse Steak. Perfectly done to his liking, he ate every bite. We opted for ice cream and espresso for dessert. As always, it was a most enjoyable meal. We saw no ghosts but would return for a psychic night here. The restaurant does have a rich history of apparitions and unexplained movements and noises. Perhaps the adjacent cemetery residents make occasional passings and staff seem to see them while not much else is going on to distract them like a full house of diners. And if you think you will see the cemetery's headstones across from the parking lot, not to worry, you won't. A previous realtor had them all removed to make the property more attractive for sale. Thus, whether you are a believer or non-believer, one thing for sure if you will get a great meal prepared by a talented chef and enjoy your visit.”

“Located in the heart of Hampton Bays, this pub is hopping. We happened upon a festive celebration including live music and an Irish Bagpiper playing. One may say, March Madness isn't just about college basketball! There is always a stellar Irish menu of Bangers, Shepherd's Pie, Corned Beef and Cabbage and more. Their entrees include beef, chicken, seafood and pasta dishes. I enjoyed a platter of flounder, shrimp, and clams while my hubby had shrimp and crab stuffed flounder. Both entrees were done correctly. I'd be remiss not to mention their Clam Pie, and 5 Alarm Chili Nachos are not to be missed, so bring your appetite. They have booths and table plus a large bar area. There is ample parking in the back. The staff is attentive and friendly.”
