The food was absolutely delicious, I especially enjoyed the Roast pork, and the home made cheese cake. “Great place to grab lunch (or any meal) with the added plus of a great outdoor bar serving your favorite cocktails! The outdoor patio area is large with plenty of seating options from tables to Adirondack chairs. There is also seating available inside with another bar area and air conditioning. The Outpost Team was fantastic! Took time to answer any questions we had on the menu and also checked on us often to ensure everything was in order. The owners are great! Went out of their way to make sure our experience there was satisfactory. The menu has plenty of options. Portion sizes are large and food was excellent! Definitely will be stopping back any time we are traveling in the area! Highly recommend you try! As a note: You may see this place listed as The River Restaurant and Bar on Google Maps. This is incorrect. If you “zoom In” you will see The Outpost listed. The Outpost is correct.”

“I have gone to the Mohican Inn several times since its recent opening. I have been very impressed with their burgers and pizzas so far. The cheese burger I received the other night was delicious and exceeded expectations. That will definitely be my go-to menu item! My only negative comments are on the wait times (which I'm sure will improve as the business becomes more established) and the fries. I love fries but they have been dry and unseasoned. A little salt and a house sauce could work wonders. Really rooting for this business to succeed :)”

“Favorite place to stop while kayaking with my father every year for 17 years. Also a great night spot when I worked as a counselor at a nearby camp. I have only the fondest memories of this irreplaceable NY state landmark. I live in the mountain west now and just seeing a picture of the Millbrook chokes me up.”

“1st time customers. The ambiance of the building was beautiful, the availability of eating outside would have been awesome! If it had been a sunny day. The food was delicious, there were 4 of us with 4 different entrees at which we shared to get a varied taste and the prices were very reasonable. The only downside was the server who was very unpersonable since it seemed like we were not regulars.”
