Their burger and fries are so good and I like how they ask you how you want your burger...well done, medium, etc. If your into sweet potato fries, you should try it there... so good! “The food was consistent, went to dinner 2 nights, the burger my wife ordered was supposed to be 8 oz, did not look it at all, a little small, I liked the German dish I ordered both times but they were out of the sausage I wanted both nights, staff a little shy? First night saw the waitress use her hand to fill my wife's glass with ice, 2nd night different waitress used the scoop. They really should advertise German food I think it would draw more people In”

“My wife, 11 y.o. daughter, and I had an incredible lunch at Basil & Wick's on Monday July 29, 2019. Rob from Revolution Rail recommended the place after our rail bike adventure and we could not have been more pleased. The hostess and server were professional and incredibly kind. The food was AWESOME. I had The Bacon Blue Burger and it was one of the BEST burgers I'd ever tasted. My wife had the Lettuce Wraps and our daughter had the kid's mac n' cheese, which they also really enjoyed. When we tried to pay, their credit card machine wouldn't process our payment so the hostess came over and informed us the lunch was on the house! We HIGHLY recommend Basil & Wicks both for their EXCELLENT food & service. We hope to return their someday again.”

“OP Frederick's is recommended to us by a friend so we decided to give it a try. The first thing that we noticed going in was it had a real old fashioned lake feel, which brings back a lot of memories from my childhood. The service was good, the servers were friendly and attentibe. My wife ordered the maple glazed salmon which she loved. It was a nice piece of salmon with a good sauce. I got the breaded haddock and it was excellent. They advertised it as beer pattern and sometimes they batter it too much but this was perfect. It was a good size pizza fish and very tasty. Our only complaint was at the rolls that they served were small and nothing special. But overall It was an excellent meal.”

She works day in and day out to prep the food from scratch all by herself. She puts her heart and soul in to ever dish that leaves that kitchen on a daily basis, with a cooking staff of only three people. Yes mistakes happen and things get backed up but Amy will do everything in her power to make sure you enjoy your time at our little Place in the Adirondack Park. “Spent a long weekend skiing at Gore. As a skier, the Panther Mountain Inn was perfect. Located about 15 minutes from Gore, the rooms were inexpensive, and clean. They are on the small side with only a closet, and a bathroom. There is a small refrigerator in the bathroom. No dressers, so you will live out of a suitcase, flat screen TV on the wall. Considering I used the room only to sleep in, it was all good. There is a pub located in the lower level that had a good selection of beer and pub food. The wings were excellent. While there is nothing fancy about this place, it suited my needs quite well. I would definitely return.”

“Entire staff and experience from beginning to end was exemplary. Coordinator Eva assisted in making our stay just brilliant and Nicole our server provided seamless service at all points of our stay. I’ve forgotten our dinner server’s name however his was impeccable as well. Our dinner was perfectly prepared and seasoned. The foie gras app was insanely delicious! The seafood and braised beef entrees were equally phenomenal. We stayed in Lakeview which was spacious and comfy. The garden area provided the perfect backdrop for a surprise wedding proposal! The small things are not overlooked here and hospitality is their goal. Highly recommended!”

“Great food , Jason is a great cook and really friendly. The food was awesome. The Onion rings fries, and chicken tenders awesome. The pulled pork burger is almost to freaking die for. Good times and enjoyed our stay. And having our lunches there the times we did. Prices are also fair too, its actually more expensive to go into the town to eat especially since the portions are less out there. Definitely check it out. Oh the day time bartender Tina is really nice and personable. She doesn't mine having a little chit chat with you before even asking you to pay for the drink. I'd tip her just for the chat hahaha.. that's how it should be right. So be sure to tell Tina Bruce said hello. Oh the lake George Cider is worth a try. I loved it... Stay safe and enjoy.”
