My only suggestion would be that I would preferred that my grilled asparagus, which was great, had been popped where it would naturally break had it been been bent and let nature take it's course. “Completely disappointed with this place. My husband and I went here this past weekend to grab an early dinner. We were seated quickly but it took a while before our waitress shower up. Then we ordered food and my husband got his food and I didn’t get mine. Mine finally showed up when he was finished eating. Our waitress apologized but honestly it didn’t seem sincere and nothing else was said or done. I waited 15 mins after my husband got his food before I got mine. They should have offered us a free desert or comped the food. Sadly, we won’t be returning any time soon. This was our first time back here in YEARS and it was a horrible experience.”

“Just okay. The waitress was amazing. She was very nice. As a matter of fact, everyone we encountered here was nice. It's been a while since I've had a craving for fried seafood, and it will be a long time before I get another hankering for it. It wasn't as good as I remembered. The shrimp was chewy. It was a disappointment. The oysters were okay, but the best part was the salad and baked potato. I can do that at home.”

“As I walked place was empty and no one at the counter to greet me. As i approached the counter to place an order to go took a menu and looked over it. When I decided i placed my order and went out side to wait for it to be ready and in about 10/15 minutes it was done. Great! as so I thought... Nope... I had to ask for utensils, and when I arrived back at my car as I was washing clothes next door food was nearly cold and did not taste fresh at all, very bland and dry. Wasn't good but not nasty just not what i am use too. Thai food is usually sticy or at a minimum flavorful and this was neither. For a total of nearly $20 for a single order would have been well worth if food was good.”

“Had heard of CARVERS before but had never tried eating there. We were pleasantly surprised were greeted by one of the owners who seated us. WE both had the beef and gravy over rice with apples and green beans. The meal was hot and very very good. While eating the server kept checking on us along with the owner. Will we return you dang right got to go back for the Oysters which they serve year round. The menu offers a wide variety of daily specials and most of the foods that are served in the family style restaurants. Prices are in line with other area eateries in the area. Though we live in northeast Guilford County we travel to Burlington for most of our eating out adventures as well as other shopping needs. Go and give these locals a try and I think you will agree that their food is worth the trip.”

“I placed my order online just like I have done many times before. Stopped in for a fast pick-up and run but to my surprise, I was told that they did not have one of the subs that I ordered online. I was initially getting upset but the young man behind the counter was so nice, I could not get mad. Then I had to wait behind 3 people before I could order a replacement. The whole time this young man was so nice I still couldn't get mad (his politeness was starting to anger me … lol). Anyway, got my replacement sub and when I got back to my truck, I noticed that even with all that trouble … it only took ten minutes. This could have very easily escalated into a big fuss but due to the professionalism of this young man … I left happy. Thanks for the life lesson and keep up the good work! Oh yeah … the subs were delicious!!”

“I actually did try Pandora's but plan to back and try them. There menu and place look awesome and I can't wait to go back and try them. But they share a building with Smitty's ice cream. We stopped in and got the best waffle cone and ice cream that I have had in a long time. The lady was so nice to answer flavor questions. They even had Guinness ice cream. Everyone got something different and everyone loved it. We will definitely be back for pizza and ice cream.”

“Amazing restaurant at an amazing value. My wife and I love the food here. The potato soup here is off the chain. My go to choice is their seafood fettuccine and my wife loves the wraps. Every dish is cooked perfectly and comes out hot and super fresh. The waitresses here are very attentive and respectful. Very clean dining room and very clean bathrooms. Great place to bring your spouse or the entire family for lunch or dinner. I can't brag enough about this place. This is one place that I definitely recommend to anybody.”
