Dilbar was recommended to us by some locals. We've never had Indian food before ... and man have we missed out!! The portions at Dilbar are plentiful, sharing size for 2 people. Each dish offered a perfect heaping of flavor and spice. The veggies were fresh and crisp. After a long day of hiking, we decided to dine in. As we waited for our food (maybe 10min), it was a comforting feeling to see sooo many people come in and out picking up ToGo Orders. The atmosphere is laid back, fun music going, quick service, in the heart of downtown. With so many choices, I only wish we had more time here to try everything. We will certainly be back at least one more time before we leave.
We sat for dessert and nearly tried every sweet there! The restaurant had a very nice casual vibe and the place was packed. The manager and the kitchen handled it with ease. We briefly met the owner and he was very kind and down to earth. Thanks Dilbar team for your hospitality. We can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu!
If you are OK with eating and small paper and styrofoam plates, this may be the place for you. This place does Indian street food really well. You can’t go wrong with any of their dishes, and they are all moderately priced for the area. You can expect to pay $12-$16 for any dish.
The reason I give a four-star is because seating is not that convenient. If you are a party greater than four people, there’s only one high table that could accommodate you. Otherwise, everything else is either 2 to 4 people. They also had an outside a small area to sit, however the chairs were not clean, and the heater was not on.
Food was great. Big variety on the menu. The service was great. The guys were all very knowledgeable and friendly. Atmosphere wasn't too bad but not the best of the best either. Seemed a bit more like dining or fast food seating.. then again, I've never been to any restaurants in India so I wouldn't really know.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING AND IF YOU HAVEN'T EATEN HERE YOU'RE MISSING OUT!!!!! 🧡🌟🧡🌟
Ahem. That being said, I have eaten here when they were 5 days old and now, over a month old! The food is not only beautiful but delicious. And might I add that I have neverrr been able to find a place that spices their food properly and consistently every time. I recommend the Samosa Chat (medium spice) as I have gotten it every time, but I am still making my way through the menu~ Not to mention the large variety of drink options they have is impressive. The place is eye catching with their neon signs and decor, and the atmosphere of bollywood music just ties it all together. All of the employees are all so nice and I feel welcomed every time. I am so glad to see them doing so well and hope they are here to stay!!
