If you have ever had authentic Indian food, made from someone who was born and raised in India you know it is to find those flavors. Mehfil does that and more. Their traditional service is delightful, I for one love feeling fancy, white table cloth, small dishes for each part of the meal, not already sweetened Chai. Heaven.
We love spicy food, so the only thing I would say is that their super spicy isn't that spicy. I ordered chopped peppers on the side for a little extra kick. The servers were all so kind. A gentleman with a very thick French accent was having issues with his dessert selection and two of the servers were so patient and sweet guiding him through the menu and what each item was. It was adorable. And makes me want this place to succeed even more. Try this place out if you haven't been, you won't regret it.

Sophisticated setting, good prices, and super flavorful food! Our waiter was very helpful in matching us with the right cocktails, naan and entrees. We eat a lot of Indian food on our travels and this was the best we’ve had so far!

Was in need of some great Indian food on rainy dreary day. Was very happy with our selection at Mehfil. The restaurant was clean and the staff was delightful. Our food came out timely and our craft cocktails were superbly made. As for the food we enjoyed the chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani and different varieties of the naan bread. The rosemary and cheese options were the group favorites. We will definitely be back. Cheers!!

The food at the buffet was absolutely delicious! I sampled some of everything. The ambiance is peaceful and inviting. I will definitely come back to eat here again. The employees were accommodating. I wish the host at the door was a bit more upbeat or at least smiled. But the food was amazing 😁😊

Oh my the food and service is amazing! The lamb chop appetizer was insatiable with heavenly flavors, bold and makes your pallet water! The chili chicken appetizer was also so incredible with bold and blasts of heat and spice. Total yummy food and you don’t need to eat much to feel fulfilled. My honey and I split 2 appetizers and that was enough for us. The service from the time we walked in the door was friendly and attentive throughout the whole time. Thank you for giving me a most wonderful lunch experience and I’m thankful for a new addition to Asheville as they have only been open since April. Wow goodness and refreshing to see a business who goes the extra mile.
