“Sorry that I didn’t know about this place till recently - up until now, I hadn’t really found a great pretzel in the Asheville area and would have told you the best soft pretzels were at Sam’s Club! The owner is from Germany, and brought his recipe and technique with him. These pretzels are the real deal, featuring a mildly crunchy, salty malt-brown exterior and a soft, dense, stretchy-chewy interior that’s just waiting for a dip of Lusty Monk mustard or one of their excellent beer-cheeses. The interior is airy, bright and fun, and there’s ample outdoor seating. Parking is easy and free. Knowledgeable, friendly employees will help ensure you have a great time.”

“Love all the work that's gone into this place! They've really transformed it into an open and spacious space. The pizza and other food offerings are great, good selection of beers on tap and plenty of bottle/can offerings... wine too. TVs on the wall for sports, an area for kids to play around in, and plenty of dining/seating options. Since opening they've been put themselves out there in the community as well, which is cool. Happy to have a spot on the east side that offers a relaxed and casual experience. Apparently, they will be building a deck overlooking the river in the spring/summer providing some outdoor seating options. Can't wait to see how they continue to grow! This area has needed a place like this and I'm impressed with what they have to offer.”
