“Filling the fast-food niche created by Dairy Queen’s departure, Thunder Burgerz offers good variety at a fair price. A plant-based patty can be ordered with any burger in their line-up; as a vegetarian, I love this. They even offer a spicy vegetarian bratwurst, which I’ll be trying on my next visit, along with one of their great-sounding desserts. 🍔 The interior is clean and uncluttered, and I liked the smooth R&B soundtrack. 🍔 I gave an extra star for the super-friendly, super-helpful service I received.”

“The trick is located on the back side of Zillicoah Brewery, go through the brewery or around the covered patio side. It's quite far back. The last time I had Filipino food was over 10 years ago so take this with a grain of salt - I could be doing it all wrong. I asked about the menu, and wanted to try the lumpia. I went with the Platter, which comes with 5 lumpia, 3 skewers, a thimble of pickles, java rice, orange-color sauce, brown-color sauce, and soy sauce. It's too much lumpia and not enough of everything else for a shared meal and too much for a single meal. I dipped the lumpia in the orange and the brown, preferring the orange, but both were tasty. The lumpia was the standout for me, dipped or plain. The rice was a bit gummy and underseasoned so I poured the thimble of soy sauce on top and that helped a bit. I dipped the chicken and pork skewers in the brown and orange, but preferred the brown. The skewers were dry and tough. I wanted to like these more, but the flavor was underwhelming and they were difficult to eat. I loved the pickles and wish there was more than a spoonful. The folks were super friendly and the presentation is good, but the food was a bit all over the place and nothing was particularly great or memorable. Could be an off night, could be early days. Give it a shot and see for yourself.”

“This Mexican restaurant is really good authentic Mexican street food very wide variety of dishes from tacos burritos to tamales is freshly made right in from of you prices are very adorable. The staff is very sweet and helpful and will work with you is you want anything extra. Only thing is they don’t have alcohol it would have been nice to have a cold crisp corona with the food other than that love the food and place.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by how good my food was. I got the spicy shredded chicken enchiladas. They were very very good. My girlfriend got the nachos, which she liked. The restaurant itself is huge because it used to be Copper River. The service was pretty good, not the best, but good enough. The picture of the food below and one drink was $28.50 before tip. Very good prices.”

“If you are looking for a burger in this area for dinner, this is the place to go. Burger was great! Clean restaurant, order at the counter, staff brings food to your table. Drinks, condiments, to go stuff are all located at drink station. There is a bar, this is a brewery, staff are helpful and friendly. I came in the winter, but they have put-put and some other activities available when it is warmer. I recommend them.”

“this was my first time here, the best I can describe it would be as a latino market / convenience store with a small deli area that serves up delicious fresh food such as hot & cold sandwiches and tacos, plus breakfast all day !! I didn't catch his name but the business owner is a super friendly guy who informed me that the quetzal is a colorful bird that's native to Central America.”

“We took a trolley tour today and they pointed this place out. We thought it would be a good place to stop for a snack. The yogurt itself was good. The area by the toppings were a little dirty with toppings on the counter. We got our yogurt and sat outside. A few tables were dirty, but inside were 2 workers who were sitting on chairs behind the counter kind of hanging out. It was good enough but we have been to much better yogurt shops.”

“YES!! First time trying this place we did lunch delivery. Great menu! We had Reubens, Fried Bologna, a turkey sandwich along with Pasta and Potato salad. Wonderful flavors, good portion size and definitely quality ingredients. I'm already planning on what I'm gonna order next time. Thank you for a delicious meal!”

“This place is so cool, with all of the books to browse and/or purchase while being able to enjoy some wine and hang out. The string trio playing the night we were there was a super nice touch. Wish we could have hung out longer, but we had a dinner reservation to get to. If I ever get back to Asheville this place will definitely be on my list for a revisit.”

“Authentic Caribbean food, made from scratch. Everything I tried was great and some of dishes, with a hint of flare and a unique flavor compound. Own an operator by Mr. King himself. Definitely should come by and enjoy some island flavor everything Irie.”

“The ice cream I had was super gigantic that I didn’t even finish it. I’m not much of an ice cream eater. But this place served some bomb a** ice cream. It was so soft and smooth. Also very delicious! The milk shakes that my friends brought was humongous also. It looked good too! I went when it was a bit chilly, but I bet if it was warmer it woulda tasted 100x better. It was still good though. I say go give it a try! There’s only drive thru or order and pay by phone only. You couldn’t eat inside because the family was inside and they had small children there. It was absolutely fine to me. There was seating outside with benches and tables. The cost was with it because the portion was so big!”

“Great pulled pork sandwich and nice selection of sides and sauces. Paired it with sweet tea and Mac & cheese, lunch was as good as it gets.”
