“They take pride in their food and they should it is absolutely great. It's always fresh always crisp and the abundance of flavor never lets me down. If you want Mexican food from a Mexican restaurant owned by authentic Mexican well this is the place you need to be. They take pride in their authentic food might have held on to their roots from their country the food is phenomenal and the sauces they have that are homemade and the guacamole oh my goodness you just got to go and give it a try.”

“Bo's is a nice place. I enjoy watching my children and their friends have so much fun. I wish the food was better. We stayed an entire day spending far more than I expected. That doesn't bother me. But when we ordered food, from pizza, to other items throughout the day I was very disappointed with every plate of food. I hope that the menu changes. Not so much the type of food but the quality of the food. My children and their friends threw away more than they ate, and so did I. For the price you pay the quality should match. Allison Greene”

“Blanca makes gorgeous cakes for all occasions, and the best ever Central American meals. My love of Blanca's is the meals. I follow a plant base diet and can get an entire meal there: rice and beans, fried plantains, a salad, plantain chips, yucca, and a fine dessert. My husband's favorite is the Cuban sandwich. There are many meat and cheeses options, for omnivores. The restaurant is bright and cheerful, with booths and tables. During Covid, you may order take-out. Blanca's is fine!”

“Okay, this might get lengthy. This was the major weekend they were open after coronavirus quarantine. The place was packed, and no one was wearing a mask. One of the rolls was hard enough to bounce off the wall and make a thud when I hit the floor. The salad was lackluster but okay. The fries were nothing to write home about. But... The burger was absolutely phenomenal. It was well-cooked, well-seasoned, and all the fixings were appropriately applied. It was a really good burger, the best I've had in Lenoir and many years. Also, our waiter was knowledgeable, accommodating to the vegan in my group, and helpful.”

“Can't Stop. Won't Stop! I literally eat here like 3 times a week. The guy already knows my order and is calling it out by the time I get stopped at the window. They have the best chicken soba ever. They are moist and delicious. Their chicken is always tender. They are also so much cheaper than everywhere else. Plus, they have a loyalty card that you get a free meal like every 8 purchases. Winner! It is drive thru only, so you can't stop in and eat, but stop by the park or hoard it in your car. Do whatever you must to eat it!”

“Great food! My ribs were fall-off-the-bone and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Perfectly seasoned. Can't wait to sink my teeth into some smoked brisket. I also enjoyed the Smoked Mac 'n Cheese, as well as the Cowboy Beans. My cocktail was freaking AWESOME! Don't know what I'd change about any of it. Love the decor, especially the live-edge dining tables. When the Cloer's do something, they do it right.”

“Visited Camp Coffee this morning for their soft opening. They were still sorting out some of their equipment and decor, but that's part of the soft opening experience. The staff were friendly, the shop was clean despite the preparation going on, the atmosphere was inviting, and the coffee was tasty. Those are my primary criteria for a coffee shop. I hope Camp does well, and I hope to see them expand their hours; my biggest gripe with Highland before it closed was simply that it had terrible hours. Having a cozy spot for a date or to read a good book is something our town desperately needs.”

“I recently had the good fortune to eat at Southern cross roads. They had a nice selection on the menu, in fact I got the rainbow trout would you can have prepared 1 of 3 ways. I chose Fried and it was Delicious. They have a lot of Interesting things on offer for their sides. For example I had homemade potato salad and cucumbers and onions. Everything is prepared fresh and/or homemade. I would definitely recommend a visit.”

“Southern Crossroads has some of the yummiest homemade food there is to offer in Caldwell and Watauga County, not to mention the servers are excellent! These are caring and friendly folks and thats why they have been in business for 50 plus years. My problem is that social media helps one be deceitful and harmful to someones business, livelihood and well being. In this particular case I am talking about jaded ex employees who have nothing better to do than instigate trouble and fabricate stories, which is why they are no longer employed with Southern Crossroads. Please do not let these untruths keep you away from one of the BEST restaurants in Lenoir.”

“First time tonight experiencing a Taste of Havana and let me tell you, absolutely amazing. Very flavorful food and quick service. My wife got the steak and has always needed steak sauce to complement it, but not this time. This is definitely what the City of Lenoir needs. There decor is also very nice and they have a few beers available. Great new restaurant in Lenoir that everyone needs to visit.”
