“The vast majority of folks were excellent. The Quartermaster was excellent, perhaps the best in the country. She was very inclusive and introduced me to a number of great folks. The auxiliary team that were raising funds were great to work with and were really raising the spirit in the hall. The bar staff and servers were great. Wing Wednesday was a hit with me. Unfortunately, it has come to my attention that the Commander of this post is abusive to the female members of the Executive. I wish the best of luck in dealing with this kind of behaviour and in ensuring that it doesn't happen again.”

“Got to try out the new donut place. It's really cute and cozy. Great location too, we need more places over there. The staff was wonderful and so friendly. We were indecisive about what donuts to get and they recommended the maple bacon which I have to say was surprisingly delicious. Also tried the smores (yum), fruity pebbles, basic glaze, and a chocolate oreo. Fantastic. The coffee was also delicious. Will definitely be going back. Well done fellas!”

And their Hawaiian shaved ices are like a tropical paradise in a cup, so refreshing! Don't get me started on the popcorn - addictive flavors and so crispy! Plus, their fresh lemonades are a must-try - icy cold and bursting with flavor. I had the peach lemonade. The whole experience is fantastic, and the staff and owner are super friendly. “I have been to Moxie 2 times so far, and everything is fantastic! Exactly what you'd expect from a Mega Tea shop! The owner is super sweet, and gave me flavor recommendations since I was new there. I have had the Bahama Momma and the Island Girl Mega Teas, and they were full of flavor and tasted perfectly balanced. I've had the Cookie Monster shake, and it is SO good! A shake and a tea only cost me $14 bucks. That is a deal compare to other stores! You have definitely gotta give this place a try! They also have fun seasonal flavors like pumpkin!”

“Absolutely love this place! The people, the staff and atmosphere are great. Items on the menu seem to be relatively customizable (to a point) which is a plus for picky eaters like my self. The build your own is always a good option. A lot of their foods come from local farmers, they make their own breads in house, smoke their own meats etc. I have tried a few of the items on the menu but my current favorite is the Porta Acconto with some Prosciutto *chefs kiss*! A special little lunch treat down the block from work.”

The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was excellent, and the food was on a different level from anything this county has experienced since the closing of Bistro By the Sea. We shared the seafood tower and were too full to even entertain a steak tonight! A shared bottle of wine from my grandfather’s favorite vineyard capped off this outstanding meal alongside the Texture dessert! “I am writing this as I sit in this diner. Let the waitress recommend the chicken and waffles and accept this recommendation. They are the most heavenly sweet waffles with juicy chicken. While you’re at it, you have to try the homemade cheese biscuits. When they have bacon in them they look like little crabs! It’s so cute! The taste is how a biscuit should taste. 10 out of 10, you guys should give this place a try!”

“This was a great all around experience. I was a little skeptical when we pulled up because it seemed like a small place that wasn't very busy. But there is more than meets the eye! We were lucky enough to be served by Nacho himself, who offered not only great service for us but he has created a great restaurant experience. The restaurant is rather new, but you can tell he has a lot of experience in service and he has put a lot of work into his restaurant. On his recommendation I tried the tostadas (not something I would normally order) but I was pleasantly surprised at the great flavor and good quality of the ingredients. I would definitely recommend that along with the chili rellano, which was one of the best I've ever had! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and we will definitely return when in the area. I hope the locals have embraced this place and will keep it open for many years to come.”
