“The atmosphere was great. Service was on point even when busy and wait staff was very friendly. The star was of course the steak. I had the porterhouse and compared to places around this area it was the best I ever had. Juicy and thick, cooked to perfection. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. “Worth the wait! Getting seated took about 30 minutes, but the staff made my meal with the grandsons very enjoyable. Calamari and fresh made mozz sticks were spot on (Few restaurants can get calamari right. They do)! Steaks were grilled to order AND the wait staff made sure when they brought it to you, it was grilled to your liking! I had the Asparagus which was grilled to perfection as I ordered it, grilled in lemon pepper butter. Fresh grated Romano cheese topped anything we wanted it in from pizza to the steaks. In season is the lamb chops and pork chops. Slightly on the expensive side, but worth it as a family treat or birthdays.”

This location is also ran by a great team that really put their heart and soul into it. “Nick was my cashier. Did a great job of "ORGANIZING THE CHAOS" of lunch hour at Chic Fil A. I always go inside to get my food. SUPER Glad I did this time because it gave me a moment to connect with Nick. I was impressed with him. So was the person after me. Haven't seen him here at this location until today. He's a great addition to the staff here. Salad was FANTASTIC as always. You can't go wrong! “Perhaps it was just late in the evening. I had to ask the waitress twice for my coffee. When we could get her attention. Never did bring more creamer. Maybe she thought we would not be good tippers. We spent $80 and change. I would normally tip over $20 and as much as $30 for good service at that price. Now for our food. I ordered the lobster lovers. The rock crab was incredibly tough. The waitress said it would be chewy if it sat too long. It had sat too long. We paid for a good meal and left thinking we will not return. For those prices, it should have been a nice dining experience.”

“Decided to try their Fish for the first time. I must say I was impressed. Fish was crunchy and had a great flavor. Tartar sauce was not too strong with that aftertaste others leave with you. lettuce came with it and I always add pickles. I didn't really care for the bun - lets say it was just too chewy. Over all it was a good sandwich and I will order it again!”

“I, me, myself, and I have been loving Hardee's ever since I was a child maybe aged in between 6 and 10 years old. I still remember my first bite of their Spicy Chiccen which was delicious with just the accurate amount of spiciness. I just recently commenced asking for lettuce, tomatoes, and onions along with cheese to be added to the Spicy Chiccen. Later on in life I tried the burgers and was starstrucc!!! WOW; I love this establishment and I am hopeful that many others love Hardee's just as I do!!!”

“The BEST bbq joint I've been to yet! I was assuming it was just another generic Carolina bbq but not at all! Everything was freaking EXCELLENT! The 3 meat tray was more than enough for my wife and I. We ordered the brisket, pork, and chicken breast and all the meats were GREAT. The sides were mashed loaded baked potatoes and slaw and both of those were very good. Then they topped it all off with 2 drinks. All of this was under $15. We're definitely going back.”

“This isn't a Subway for public transportation. It's a Sandwich Shop. Lots of options and always fresh. Friendly staff but wait times can span Twenty minutes if they are busy. My only complaint is, I wish they would just finish making my Sub as it's ready. Instead of making me wait the extra 5-10 minutes so they can can start another Sub for that person that just walked in and only waited half the time. All while my Toasted Sub gets cold.”

“This was one of my best meals in Hickory. I got in late my first night there due to a flight delay. I drove around to find some comfort food. I saw this place and went inside. The guy at the counter was super friendly. The young lady that was cleaning in preparation was friendly. The pizza was so big, I ate the rest for lunch all week. It was a great tasting pizza as well. “The prices are expensive, but it is a food court restaurant in a mall, so high prices are not surprising. The staff seemed friendly, and the free samples being given out were a great lure for a hungry customer to try one of their sandwiches. The Chicken Philly and California Chicken (a name something to that nature) were the two sandwiches we purchased. Both sandwiches were full of meat and toppings, so it looked like a quality made sandwich visually as it was prepared. Both sandwiches had juicy, tender meat and well prepared vegetables that made the sandwiches feel like good quality food, despite the high price. The French fries and loaded fries offered are very tasty as well, being good quality, more like fresh cut fries as opposed to fast food fries. At the end of the counter, a selection of flavored seasoning salts are offered to flavor up the fries. This was a really nice touch, and probably the one thing that made the higher prices feel more worth it overall. It's one thing to get fries (most every place has fries of some sort) but it's an entirely different French fry experience when you can season those fries however you wish. Overall, the quality balanced out the higher prices, so this is a place I would eat at again. It's very hard to find an authentic cheese steak experience in the Hickory area, however this one is close enough to satisfy the desire should a cheese steak craving hit.”
